Good, but...
The good bits:It looks great and is exactly the right size for my car, being ideal for hatchbacks with steeply sloping tailgates. Because the doors open in an arc due to the sloop of the cage, they clear the lip of boot, a great bonus in my case as the lip is quite deep. The not so good bits:It's a real pain to assemble, probably better if there's two people but it can be done by one person. There was slight damage to one part that needed straightening but was east to fix. Despite it's looks, it really isn't that strong, the doors especially look like they might easily get damaged as they only one to just over 90 degrees and if they were forced further, say by an enthusiastic dog leaning on them, I can imagine the hinge breaking very easily. The floor is a disaster. It's hard to imagine a more slippery surface. i had to resort to getting some rubber sheeting and sticky backed Velcro tape to hold it in place and then putting 'vertbed' on top of that. And finally, it rattles like mad (probably exaggerated by the fact that it's an electric car and very quiet). I had to use tape and felt pads to secure the various panels to get rid of most of the rattles.Would I buy it again? Probably yes, because it's the only cage I can find that makes best use of the space available in my car. But if I could find an alternative without paying loads for a custom built cage - probably not.
