I don't write a lot of reviews for products on Amazon but I will on this one. The product is outstanding and I can't understand ANY of the complaints I read in some other reviews. I looked for some small latches like these at big box stores and hardware stores without success. I was pleased to find these.These latches are NOT flimsy! They are solid metal and have a spring-loaded ball bearing to snap the latch closed. The bottom section has a locator pin so you can easily and accurately align the two sections when installing. You need 4 screws to complete the installation. They give you ten! Did I mention you get 5 of these fabulous latches for $10?! If there is a problem with these latches it’s due to user error, not product defect. These are a bargain at twice the price!

Fixed the latches on my Waltut FM Gammon board.

1 package had the right size screws, the others has screws so short the are worthless .

2 of 5 latches are scratched and dinged and unusable for what I’m using them for. I only need two so the other 3 will work. However; description claims prime 2 day shipping, I bought these on Thursday morning and didn’t receive them until the following Monday 4 days later. They were shipped via USPS snail mail and not 2 day priority. Need them Saturday but I guess that what I get for ordering cheap junk on Amazon.

Very cheaply made, don’t recommend ordering.

This latch holds the lid tight. I even mounted handles on top of the box that open the 2 sides of the top and the latch holds the handles together.The latch has 2 ball bearings on the stationary part -- one that is fixed and the other one has a spring that the handle locks onto. The fixed on is used to align the latch before the lever is closed. The unit came with extra screws.

These are fairly small, which I knew when I ordered them. They could have made the screws a bit longer but the litte bitty ones seemed to work. Nice fit and finish.Later. I ordered these for a little box I had made. Since then I have used two more. I am sure glad they came in multiples. Good little catches for a very good price.

Quite inexpensive but work quite well and look neat. Easy to fit too.

Nice and sturdy clips that should last a good while. Much better than some the flimsy pressed steel ones you can buy.

Beautiful, works well. Not the most robust thing in the world tho.
