First time user. Both devices failed within 5 days of use. Never again.
Utterly useless. I purchased 2. The first one failed after 4 days. When I started using it I checked it's accuracy against my (Sinocare) finger prick tester. The CGM showed 13.3 finger test 8.4. After 4 days it started continuously reporting extremely low readings. 3.2, finger test 5.8. Readings down to 2.2 when I know that it was ridiculous. I've now ended the first, 9 days early. Fitted the new one, following the instructions to the letter. But the app cannot find the device, even though my phone is within 6 meters, more like 60cm.I WILL NEVER BUY THESE DEVICES AGAIN. Two failed within 5 days of use and absolutely no response from Sinocare after emailing and messaging on X. Once bitten, twice shy.UPDATE: The second device finally picked up after 10-12 hours. But like the first, after 4 days it started reporting extremely low blood sugar. Check with finger prick test and it was way out. I then purchased Libre 2 sensors. So with both running the iCan device was much lower than the Libre 2. Example, Libre 2 5.6mmol/L, iCan 2.1 mmol/L. That is useless in my opinion. I have just done a finger prick test 8.1. Libre 2 9.0. iCan 4.0. How can it be 5 lower. It is wildly inaccurate. Totally unimpressive.

Great CGM for the price.
First time using a CGM and bought this for the prime offer. I have to say I was impressed. I don’t have diabetes but was using it to monitor what makes my glucose spike. I never had an issue with it at all and it worked perfect for 14 days. If in general they weren’t so expensive I would re purchase as these are an excellent way to monitor rather than using the finger pricks. Having said that I’m probably going to order another one for when I want to practise fasting to keep an eye on it. Would recommend.

Great after care service
Worked well for the first few days, then started receiving low reading alerts, after double checking with finger prick test thought it may pass. But after going off all night keeping me awake I again compared it with finger test proving the readings were much lower than actual. Contacted customer support and removed it. Praise where it’s due they replaced it without fuss.

Easy to wear
What I prefer about these CGM’s is I don’t have to keep scanning to see my readings. I find wearing them on my stomach as apposed to the back of my arm, as with other makes, I’m less likely to accidentally knock it off. And given how expensive these things are, keeping them safe is paramount.

Avoid this product
The device consists of two parts: a sensor and a transmitter. The first step is to connect the sensor to the transmitter by clicking their housings together.I encountered issues with the first device I purchased, as these two parts would not connect; however, Amazon promptly replaced it. With the second device, the two pieces connected, but the housing would not detach after it was applied to my skin. Amazon replaced this device as well. The third device successfully clicked together and attached to my skin correctly. Unfortunately, the accompanying software would not run on my Pixel 9. I managed to get the software running on my Galaxy tablet, but the readings were significantly different from those of my blood test meter, even when accounting for the expected reading lag.On the third day, the software indicated a sensor error and instructed me to contact support. However, clicking the 'support' button displayed a message stating that support is not available in my area. Consequently, I discarded the device.

Helpful in showing trends
EDIT:Have been using it for a couple of days now. I'm used to having the Libre 3 from a different company .. so comparing it with pros and cons:Pros:- lasts longer than other CGMs. Solid 15 days- nice app with details. You can select each point for multiple days and see exact measurements. App was easier to install than other cgm apps- price is decent compared to other cgms with bluetooth- Seems to be more sensitive to changes in my blood glucose than other CGMs which is good. Very Helpful for recognizing foods that spike my blood sugar.Cons:- bulkier. Feels to be double the size of libre 3- not accurate. Tested it against a finger prick test multiple times, ican cgm shows 104 while finger prick tests show 91. It however shows trends in blood sugar spikes well, as soon as i eat something i can see the difference.- pressure on the sensor changes results on app immediately. I had to be extra careful not to pressure it, cause i just get 10-20 extra mg/dl in results which are totally not true. Major pain for anyone having alerts setup.- installation has more steps than competitors, you have to install the sensor together then install it on your body, rather just have it already assembled then simply installed on your body.EDIT:They sent me a replacement, will try it and update. Customer support was so good and easy to communicate withI broke it while trying to install it on my body. Before this i tried Libre 3 CGM and installing it was straight forward. With this it felt like a million step, with a big needle in it that you can push into the sensor early on. So many moves and twists and clicks .. eventually i clicked it into the sensor while it was in the casing and couldn't get it out without breaking that big needle.Wasted my money, and now reordered a libre 3.
