Q: I have sprayed my wheel alloys with primer and spray paint to make them black. Will this lacquer be okay to spray over them as a protective coat ?

I have used it over silver paint and it was fine. Don't see any reason why you cant use it over black.

Q: How many wheels will 1 can do

All four easily. One or two coats will last a long time. Brilliant stuff. So much easier to clean wheels after.

Q: is it suitable to spray onto polished alloy as a clear laquer i.e. polished face areas

I've used it on so many things. Not just on the car. Great product
