Fantastic, entertaining moral message for kids!
Adventures in Odyssey is a family favorite, especially on car rides. It is highly entertaining and well done dramatizations of moral, faithfilled and timely messages. The Ties That Bind is especially good to help address and gently explain a moral understanding of the true meaning of family as God intended. A must buy!

Adventures in Odyssey episodes recently have either been long and full of suspense (the Green Ring Conspiracy and the Labyrinth in the Deep End) and taught a small lesson or have been mostly based around a certain lesson with less of a suspenseful story(Clanging Cymbols, The Truth Chronicles, and A Grand Design). The Truth Chronicles were one of my three favorites because it had funny episodes that still exploring absolute truth and creationism, but the episodes weren't connected and didn't make you want to keep listening . The Green Ring Conspiracy was another one of my favorites because it all told one suspenseful story full of deception, but it didn't have many lessons it taught. My third and final favorite was the Novacomm Saga because it was a long and suspenseful story that kept you on the edge of your seat, but lacked the deep thoughts of the Truth Chronicles. Finally Adventures in Odyssey released an episode that combined the pros of all three, The Ties that Bind is a long and suspenseful mystery that teaches lessons about family, adoption, and other modern topics that are important. My family and I learned a lot about what family is and why it is important. There were some negative aspects of the album, like how they kept some of the topics in broad terms and how some scenes gave me deja vu (Whit finds out info from a protagonist's brother in a hospital room like Novacomm and someone wants to hang up a controversial poster in Whit's End like the Green Ring Conspiracy), but the good by far outweighed the bad.

Used the cd’s for a long car drive and everyone in the car loved to listen to the stories. We love them. Had some good lessons to be learned from them

Great album for the family to discuss tough issues in our society. My upper Elementary kids really loved this album
My daughter heard this story live on the radio and liked it so much that she wanted to keep re-listening to the stories. There are 14 episodes in this album, so it’s a hefty album. The character development in this particular album is deep and leaves room for lots of discussion in the family. This album included an eleven-page discussion booklet. After each episode, there are discussion questions that family members can ask each other in order to go deeper and work through the hard issues about family and what really makes a family. There are also bonus scenes and deleted scenes that were included. The main characters in this album include Wooten, Penny, Connie, Eugene, Katrina, Buck, Mr. Whit, Ms. Adelaide, the Parker family, Jay, “the Perilous Pen”, and Jules (Connie’s sister).I appreciate that FOTF presents both sides of people's opinions, but in the end, Whit bases his stand on thing in respect to the Bible. That is what we want in our family: healthy discussions about ethical issues and problems that people deal with in real life. Our only complaint with the CD is when we ripped it on our computer, the information on the CDs were often wrong. Instead of Album 58, disc 5 came out with the information that is was Album 28. I had to go back and hand change those so that my daughter could find the album on the computer.

Fabulous for the whole family
Our family didn't listen to Adventures in Odyssey when the kid were young. But now that they're in their late teens, we've begun to listen and we're enjoying it immensely. This is our first series, and we're planning to listen to more. The series is entertaining, and we've laughed out loud. But it's also thoughtful, relevant, and full of life principles and Biblical truth. Highly recommend for all ages. We're proof that it's never too late to start listening to Adventures in Odyssey!

The stories are fantastic and great for all ages
I recently moved about 9 hours from home and go back to visit often. I have 4 children with ages ranging from 6-10. This has been the only thing to keep our drive not unbearable! The stories are fantastic and great for all ages, including myself :) It has been not only a great way to pass the time in the car but also a learning experience.

A very good storyline that got the whole family discussing issues about speaking up for what you believe.

Our kids 8 - 26 all still love Adventures in Odyssey. Must have for road trips!!!
Our children ranging from 8 - 26 years old all love Adventures in Odyssey! Our family has been listening to their episodes for over 22 years and we never tire of them. I am sure our kids could win any trivia quiz on the characters and themes AIO contain.

Given as a gift but my family has been listening ...
Given as a gift but my family has been listening to these for 30 years. They're short; about half an hour each and the stories describe character qualities.
