Lester Levenson Bio & Amazing Story of Mastery
I became fascinated with Lester Levenson. I purchased the Sedona Method and the story goes the "method" was derived from something that happened to Lester in 1952 that caused him to become introspective and within a 3 month period, heal himself of heart disease and several other maladies. The after affects of this event stayed with Lester for the rest of his life. He devoted his life to assisting others to get this same "effect" - gain more control over their lives by "letting go."Typically, one reads about spontaneous enlightenment happening to people in the far back past or in other countries. Lester Levenson lived in NY in the 50's so, it happened right here in the USA and with many, many witnesses. He surrounded himself with students for the rest of his life until he passed in 1994.What's left for us to work with today is the Sedona Method. Anyone who desires to move away from pain and sickness right now can. Get the gist of what I'm talking about from the book No Attachments No Aversions, then get the Sedona Method. Train yourself to release that which does not serve you and keep that which is real. You'll be relieved to know that, yes, it's possible to live with enlightenment, and yes, there is an alternative to sucking in the World as it is in all its misery. There really is beauty and light all around us. We just have to stop long enough to see it, then allow it to grow larger than our pain and misery.

Inner Peace and Love
This book is Lester's recounting of his life before and after he managed to deftly slip into a flow of grace and ease. He tells the story of growing up and struggling in the early part of the 20th century, only to find, by his early forties, some measure external success but incredible inner unease and ill health, culminating in a near-fatal heart attack which was virtualy a death sentence... or at least it was a death sentence until Lester learned to start allowing Love and Grace into his heart, and to let go of trying to control life and himself. This book is his tale of that evolution and eventual break to freedom.I have read this book many times over, and often loan my copy to friends. I feel that this book is great, particularly Lester's recounting of his enlightenment experience and the effortless, easeful flow of his existence while in that state of simply allowing God/Being to handle what we call "Life". In my opinion, this narrative lends a great insight to the qualities or "frequencies" of being in that flux of love and grace, and also, by contrast, when describing some earlier parts of his life, a good sense of how it feels when not in that flow of grace.Bottom line: if you are at all a spiritual seeker, I suggest that you may wish to read this book; I can almost guarantee that there will be some great gems in it for you!

Best investment in yourself.
Having spent the last 20 years of my life trying to improve the quality of my life, I came to understand that some techniques are more helpful than others. Several months ago, I came upon the work of Lester Levenson thru a syncronistic act. In the last few months, my life has opened up in ways I could not have imagined. I have a profound sense that this is just the beginning for me. I wish I could offer Lester my heartfelt thanks.Lester's work comes from the heart..and you get a real sense of the depth of genuine compassion this man had for himself and everyone he knew. Even though he has passed on many years, when you hear someone who knew him speak of him, it's not unusual to hear a voice crack with love and tenderness. In our society, we exalt actors and athletes....we revere the rich and famous...a man like Lester Levenson was a hero in his own right..worthy of respect and admiration. He probably would not have sought such things...but they are a natural result of a life lived to its grandest detail. Hats off to you, Lester...you made it!

Love Lester’s Teachings!
I love Lester Levinson’s teachings! He does briefly outline his releasing method but does not go into great detail. But you will find the 3 step method. I would recommend this book highly!

The book to I am.... and Awakening
Besides the book - keys to the ultimate freedom - this is my bible on the way to awakening. Lester's personal view of the world after his realizaton in New York shines forth in this book and inspires his pupils on every page. For a person who is not so deeply informed about the background of Lester's method of releasing technique to free oneself of the ego limitations, it might be useful to read more about his life, his biography and his method or way to help others as the books Lester Levenson wrote himself are very short. For somebody who has been diving into enlightening literature and the concept of Ramana Maharshi - I am - Quest or Yogananda - the I am Quest or Jean Klein's - I am Book, this is an inspiring diamond more on the path.

letting your wants and desires go actually attracts them to you more because like law of attraction by releasing your desires to
if you can release your emotions you can stop all the thoughts associated with your emotions which are just your interpretation of reality and not reality itself. letting your emotions go frees up your energy to be in the present moment where you can be more productive and more of a participant in life instead of stuck inside your head. letting your wants and desires go actually attracts them to you more because like law of attraction by releasing your desires to the universe and not dwelling on them allows them to be instead of reinforcing your desire which is not the same as having. Lester is a master and you can certainly learn from him. how you feel about things colors how you see the world and the movie that is presented to you. neat book as it shows Lesters life before and after is realization and enlightenment.

Love this book for its amazing simplicity.
Lester Levenson is an author I stumbled on through a Prime trailer for a documentary that isn't available. Although this isn't the best written or edited book I've read, it holds so much promise with such a simple approach, that I feel it merits 5 stars. I've already read it twice and will be reading it again and again.
