Cool little knife
Cool little knife. I guess by the Chain it comes with it is intended as a neck knife, but in my opinion its a bit too long for a neck knife. For one it has a full legth handle and an equally long blade. carrying this around your neck isn't exactly comfortable. I like carrying it in my front trouser pocket. I attached a Lanyard to the sheath and a clip to the other end of the lanyard. If I clip the lanyard to my belt or belt loop I can draw the knife from my pocket and when it reaches the end of the lanyard, the lanyard tugs the sheath off for a quick draw. Its very slim and flat so it fits well in the pocket without taking up too much room. It has an excellent scandi grind to the blade so its easy to sharpen. I wasn't sure if I was going to like the scales and the "faux g-10) material it claims to have, but I find it to be really comfortable and the material is close enough to G-10. Overall I think its a really cool little knife that is handy and totally worth the low price it is selling for.

Great little utility/neck knife
It came shaving sharp, it's a bit thin in the grip, it's obviously designed to be a neck knife, but for me it's a great little work knife. Stuck one on my plate carrier, one for my nightstand drawer, and another for backpack. It's really a handy knife, the grips are... grippy. It's full tang and the blade itself is plenty thick width wise 1/8th inch? Its dimensions are smaller than a large steak knife, but it's tough enough to use for everything from prying to box opening, and you could probably skin with it so long as you kept it sharp. It's a fantastic utility knife for the price you definitely get more than you pay for but it's cheap enough you aren't going to cry if it gets dinged or lost. The sheath is very positive in retention, just make sure you are holding it correctly with you pull it out. The spine could use some jimping but it's not something that will slip with the scales it comes with.I would reccommend this to friends and family for a utility/non-combat/backup knife. Needs a little more meat before I would say it's a full combat/beat on it and have zero worries knife, but as it is it's great.

Very Nice
Very nice knife for the price , arrived today . It would shave the hair off my arm but now after spending 15 minutes setting up my sharpener it is Very Sharp . Hope it holds the edge well . To big to be a necklace knife but nice small light knife on my belt . I LIKE IT , it's not the best expensive knife but still very nice for the price .

Cold steel has proven superior quality once again
Even tho I loved their first version. Of the spike...this one has all the hallmarks of what's been expected from cold snow

Second 'Spike' for me ...
I mistakenly ordered the 'Tokyo' Spike but liked it well enough that I decided I would also order the one I thought I had ordered before. I really like this little thing. Feels odd in the hand, but strangely 'secure' too. The blade seems plenty tough for anything this might be meant for - and is sharp enough to shave with (as I do with each CS I've bought). Really a nice little knife well worth the price paid.UPDATE: The sheath for these are made 'incorrectly' IMO - they are shaped exactly to the blade - which limits which side I might want to have in which direction to grasp easily if carried in a boot. I'd like to see this made with a 'square' bottom that would allow me to insert the knife either way I'd like depending on how it is being carried / worn.I like it a bit better now that I've had it a little while - and will order the Tanto version as well.

Nice neck knife.
It a nice 4inch blade and handle has a finger guard to keep your hands locked to knife. However, long use I wouldn’t recommend because the handle is very thin. If it were a little wider it would seat better in the palm. I thought the pic of the knife next to a CM ruler made it looker larger.

Another Great Knife From Cold Steel | Just Buy It
I love Cold Steel Blades. I own 4 of this particular model as they have many uses. We keep a pair for steak knives at home. I keep one in the Semi Truck for cooking and other things as well, My wife keeps one in her purse as it is light weight and discreet. I also have one in my camping gear (Along with way too many others) for general purposes Just buy it, you won't regret it. I highly recommend it

Daily carry fixed blade
This is a great fixed blade for self defense. It wasn't sharp enough for my liking but the steel is soft enough that it sharpens up very quickly. It pairs best with the cold steel c clips. Otherwise use Paracord to secure it someplace.I suggest wrapping the handle to make iwb more comfortable.Considering the price, I think it's a no brainer.
