Red Raspberry Tootsie Pops 60 pops

I love Tootsie pops, and this is my favorite flavor, ever, so imagine my surprise when the flavors of these pops were inconsistent (as in, the raspberry flavor was not 'THE' raspberry flavor in every pop.) At that point I became hypercritical of these pops, given that I've been sucking on raspberry tootsie pops my whole life:1. the flavor was inconsistent/wrong on maybe a fourth of the bag, reason enough that I will not repurchase.2. the color of pops were inconsistent, "some" were taking on a translucence (whaaat?) and had an incorrect color, while others were "properly cloudy" (as one would expect from a raspberry tootsie pop) and had a correct "raspberry" color.3. The wraps on some pops were loose, their color was faded, or, they did not match the wraps on the majority of the pops.4. A third of the pops were damaged (cracked, crumbed, etc.) -- incidentally, in all cases these were also the pops which looked and tasted as one would expect (sans damage.)Since I don't know if this is a supply/mfr issue or a vendor issue I'll likely never buy bulk Tootsie pops ever again. Back to the boxed retail variety for me, where the color, flavor and content of each pop is consistent. No surprises, not even once..

I read some of the negative reviews on this product. I was hesitant about trying the Raspberry Tootsie Pops but decided to try it anyway. I don't know if I just got lucky or if others were unlucky but these are definitely fresh and taste great --- like Tootsie Pops are supposed to taste. I do believe that sometimes the seller makes the difference. I know some are stored in warehouses which can ultimately create some stale packages. I was bummed to find that the plastic bag (not a commercial tootsie pop bag smelled purfumey/soapy kind of like fabric softenter. Dont know if it was a reused bag or if the candy was stored next to soap or something. I transferred the pops to another bag but the pops smell that way too and faintly taste that way. If I rinse the candy and stick with water it is almost ok...... my husband is going to eat them but I wont be buying them again. Great idea, just not the best execution!

It's so nice to be able to get an entire bag of the one flavor that everyone digs through the bag to find, leaving behind the flavors that nobody wants.I'm not sure about the negative comments in some of the other reviews. I ordered 60 and received 60. They are all wrapped properly and have the same looks, taste, and overall quality of the standard bags available at the local supermarkets. All the kids (a.k.a young adults) are now happy.

Raspberry is my favorite tootsie pop flavor, these pops were stale. When unwrapped the pops had a thick chewy layer of dull sugary coating. Tootsie pops usually have that nice shiny sugar sheen-glow, these clearly were sitting around in some warehouse for quite some time. Totally disappointing.

I have ordered these from this company numerous times. This is the second time I have received a shipment of candy with a foul taste. It’s hard to describe, but seems to be the result of poor storage in a plastic bag, going to the strange plastic like flavor of the candy. Worst of all, I now learned that this item is not eligible for return. I will not be ordering from this company again.

I eat tootsie rolls every day. Thought it would be good to buy them in bulk. Big mistake. There is NO FLAVOR to these pops. They are supposed to be raspberry flavor but they just taste like sugar. When I buy them in the store, you can definitely tell the different flavors but the Tootsie Company is getting cheap. I feel cheated. Now, I'm stuck with tootsie pops that even my kids won't eat. Ugh.

Your ad said 60 count when I recieved the order it was a 30 count bag so I only got 1/2 the order
