B & K 104-827HC 10" Wall Hydrant, 1/2" X 10"

Works just as it should and for this price of a 1/4 turn valve it is wonderful.

Like the 1/4 turn. Seems well built. Good quality for the price. Time will tell.

Easy to install, doesn't leak, and much easier to turn up and down than what was there before.

When our old hose bib failed, I thought getting a replacement from the same manufacturer would make things as easy as possible. But apparently they've changed both the diameter of the pipe portion that passes through the wall and the spacing between the two screws that hold it in place. This is particularly annoying if, as in my case, the wall in question is covered in brick. If the manufacturer had bothered to make a spec sheet available online, it might've been possible to determine this in advance, but they didn't so as I said I just crossed my fingers and hoped a manufacturer wouldn't keep changing their product just for fun. The screw spacing was just different enough, too, that drilling new holes wasn't an option and I ended up with a somewhat unsightly solution involving washers (see photo). So far, the product is functioning just fine, so I'll give it four stars for that. But if a product like this is to be sold online where we can't inspect it prior to purchase, then I really think sellers and manufacturers should do a better job of making the specifications available. And maintaining compatibility across product generations where it's easy to do so.

This is about 1/2" too long for my wall, but I just let it stick out the front and will fill the gap with hydro-cement.Poor handling caused a deep nick on the end of the spout when I received this, but luckily the rubber hose washer is keeping it water tight. This was the only 10" quarter turn valve like this I could find on Amazon. Glad the price is reasonable!

I have been looking for a quarter turn freezeproof hose spigot and this nicely filled the bill. Easy operation.

No water came out after one summer

Recieved well packaged though one had a bow/bend. Husband had the tools to rebend it into shape again so its fine now. We love the quarter turn as oppose to the ones sold locally that u have to turn over a complete 360 to get water to flow out of them.
