ASICS Women's Gel-Nimbus 26 Running Shoe

I’ve run about 150 miles in these ASICS Gel-Nimbus 26 shoes, and I need to tell you about them. It’s important.A little background: I finally admitted I need more cushion in my running shoes. This isn’t a crutch—it’s a necessity. My metatarsal was in pain, my knees were aching (not because I’m 56, thank you very much), and running was just making everything hurt. So I set aside my longtime ASICS Gel-Cumulus and gave the (true-to-size) Nimbus a try.My first run? Lots of stopping and retying the laces. But once I realized I could’ve just compared them to my old ASICS, that trial-and-error could’ve been avoided.But once I got going, wow.You know that feeling when you finally crawl into bed after a long day—clean sheets, cozy mattress, and you actually sigh out loud? That’s what the Gel-Nimbus 26 felt like. No break-in period. Just instant comfort. These shoes truly welcomed my feet.I thought I’d run a couple of miles in the new pair and then switch back to my trusty Gel-Cumulus for comparison. Big mistake. The moment I put the Cumulus back on and started running, it felt like my joints were going to shatter. I had no idea how much better my feet and legs could feel—until I ran in the Nimbus.Over the last month and a half, these shoes have been absolute game-changers. I’ll head out planning to run five miles and end up doing eight. Or ten. Or twelve. Everyone around me is probably tired of hearing about these shoes and how more cushion can truly affect running performance, but I can’t help it. They’ve literally changed my life as a runner.

I just returned from a 13 day Greece tour. These sneakers are AMAZING. The Greek terrain is challenging, uneven, hot, and UPHILL. SO MANY STEPS. Not once did my feet hurt or get a blister.I swear by these sneakers for all my future trips.Totally give them 5 Stars!!!!!

The best shoes for long walking that I have ever owned. If your feet supinate (or roll out when you walk), this shoe literally prevents that. Originally, I was fitted for and purchased these shoes at a high tech athletic shoe store, bought the shoes in blue, and wanted a second color….Amazon had them!!

these start to wear down after one year. Bought another pair exactly 12 months ago. Wearing out in the bounce effect. Just got new ones, not in love with the beige bottom but it'll do. Sneaker, when new is great, lasts only 1 year then still good but feet get more tired in them.

Too wide for me so I gave shoes to daughter. She raved at them. She works in healthcare and is on her feet a lot

These are everything I had hoped for because I work in healthcare and long hours, BUT they seem slightly small compared to my other brands. I wish I would've gone up maybe half a size. I don't necessarily have a wide or fat foot, so they are just hard to break in, seemingly.

These sneakers are the only ones that have me walking pain free. I suffer from plantar fascitis. I've purchased other more expensive brands that have dine nothing for me. These have the right amount of cushioning.

Excellent cushioning and nice look. However, I walk about 5 miles a day (no running) in mostly sidewalk and grassy areas. The cushion wears out about 6 months in and the shoe overall lasted 10 months before holes and wear and tear retired them. I wish they would make them to last longer.
