Appears Fairly Sturdy
I received the product, but was missing a few of the plastic pieces. The manufacturer was very responsive andsent me an entire new ladder and allowed me to keep the original. I assembled the ladder and it is fairly sturdy. I saw a video review saying the ladder was flimsy, but the cost to manufacture thick steel rails would be substantial. Plus, in that review it appears the ladder was not touching the bottom of the pool, so of course it will wobble. For an above ground pool in my backyard the ladder is more than adequate.

Great pool ladder
This pool ladder has worked great for our 48" deep pool! Great size. It's sturdy. I love the steps. Easy to put together and install.

Using with Intex 12 by 24 by 52
For the price the quality is acceptable . I'm 220 lb it feels very stable... the ladder that comes with the Intex pool scares The Living Daylights out of me, and I'm a construction worker... I don't fear a 40 foot extension ladder... I built a deck 2 inches above the pool ...this ladder is completely adjustable by cutting the top of the stainless steel tubes, where it goes in the fittings ...I upgraded to the steel fittings you might want to drill a hole into the top of the tube for the bolt from the steel fittings to go through the handles as opposed to compress and bent them.. Also I found by cutting the top a little short the ladder leans towards the deck ....making it much nicer to get in and out of the pool instead of climbing straight up a ladder A rubber mallet is very helpful when installing the steps the screws have a difficult time finding their way through... It took 10 minutes to build 20 minutes to install There are two round balls that go on the bottom, in the pool of the stainless steel tubes I would recommend epoxying them to the tubes,,, just go to Home Depot get the 5-minute two-part epoxy and slather it around the balls before you tap them on with a mallet That way if they ever pop off,,, the tube doesn't hit the bottom of the pool and puncture it... very important Do not epoxy the round Balls to the bottom step as it needs to Pivot to match the bottom of the pool Very happy with the ladder makes it a hundred times easier to get in and out of the pool when adding shock add a little bit extra around the pool ladder it seems too slow water flow around it there for more algae.. I also bought the little blue mat that goes under it ..it gives me security as to not rub the bottom of the pool in damage it slides around every week or two but takes 4 seconds to readjust

Felt like a real factory employee!
Like the design, but this company has bad craftsmanship and bad quality control. Both products I ordered from this company (this ladder, and the heavy duty metal ladder brackets) have been inoperable upon receiving. One ladder step was not drilled (so I had to drill it myself), and another was so poorly drilled the angle wouldn't line up with the hardware (so I had to remove additional material, potentially weakening the step). I had an event so I needed something immediate, and this added more stress and jobs in my process of getting ready. 👎

So far, I really like the way they look, although a bit narrow. I can’t speak on how sturdy they are yet, as we just opened the pool for the season and it’s too cold to get in. The stairs do not float, which is relieving! Ours did not come with the plastic flanges like they state are in the package. I ended up buying metal flanges which I think will hold up better anyway. They aren’t the easiest to assemble, but manageable. Great value for the price

Difficult to Assemble, Extremely Poor Quality, Even Worse Customer Service.
Product is very difficult to assemble. The holes in the steps are not cut to appropriate size to allow the hand rails to easily slide through. The plastic trimmings from when they cut the holes were left in the step making assembly even more difficult. The ladder rail started to rust after 2 days of being installed. There are no holes in the flanges to allow a set screw to be inserted to keep the hand rails attached to the flanges. When I contacted customer service, they advised that the product does not come with set screws or flanges with set screw holes and instead sent me a link to an aftermarket set of flanges on Amazon. They also sent me a copy of the instruction booklet that states it includes set screws, and when you look at the photos of the product description you can clearly see set screws installed in the included flanges. The bottom step does not attached tightly to the handrails and falls off the hand rails very easily which will result in extreme damage to your liner. Highly do not recommend, spend your money on a reliable product.

Durable and easy to carry
I bought this pool ladder the first year I move to my own house and to be honest this ladder is very strong and solid. We’ve been using it every year and it’s still the same. I recommend it I would buy it again

Great Ladder
Honestly, there were a couple of holes that didn't line up completely, but you just have to muscle it into place a little bit, really not a big deal. Once it's in, it is pretty sturdy, we had some people that weighed quite a bit more than the advertised weight load with no issue. Really great ladder. The bottom does come off easily, but if you install it correctly - that shouldn't be an issue, because it should sit flush on the floor of the pool.

Very pleased with this ladder. Nice quality for the price. As it fills up with water, you can make it rest firmly on the pool bottom and it doesnt try to float up, giving it a ery sturfy feel. Assembly was a bit more challenging than expected, but nothing concerning. Would buy again.

We have a 52" above ground pool with a deck around it. This ladder works perfectly, it's well built, strong & secure. The upright hoops are much taller than they appear in the website picture & work well for climbing out.

The hole from each step are not buffed so it's hard to fit the pole through it ... you need to use sand paper or an utility knife. It took 2 people and 1 hours to assemble it and we had to widen the hole, remove plastic that wasn't supposed to be there. If you need a sturdy product, well pass on that one ...

Two of the step holes were not drilled through.
