Handy Hands Aerlit Tatting Shuttle with 2 bobbins –SHH434, Caribbean Sky

I love the hook at the end. It's much more convenient than grabbing a separate hook. Other tatting shuttles have either nothing (which I also like) or a sharp, pointy pick... which I hate because I keep stabbing myself with it >.< I just remember to be careful with the hook that I don't accidentally pick at the project with it as I work and I'm good. I like the bobbins. It comes with two - you fill one and use for your project and the second one can be on the side ready to refill your shuttle :) They snap into place easily, and to remove you push them out of the middle - it works well. Very convenient. I got this in three different colors, so I can tell them apart for various multi-shuttle projects. :) Highly recommend - it's a lovely shuttle :)

I love the spool. It is nice to put the shuttle in the same position and get used to the way the crochet needle moves through the loops of thread. The needle makes it easy to do all of the joins that make my projects look pretty. It is cheaper than some of the other shuttles. My favorite part is the back of the shuttle. This is where I mount the spool to refill the thread. That is nice, compact and I would have to lose the whole shuttle in order to lose the needle or spool mount. Perfect for the absent minded tatter that I am.

The little hook at the end is very handy. The bobbin didn't spin as smoothly as I was anticipating but it may be the type of yarn I was using. Will try again with something thinner.

It's a tatting shuttle, so I use it to tat lace on cloth objects or make table decorations.

This Tatting Shuttle, makes my tatting so much more fun and easy. Changing colors is so much easier, and the hook makes correcting mistakes easier.

Nice little shuttle for the price. Comes with a spare bobbin, and the bobbin fits on the end of the shuttle while you're winding.

There was a small defect on the hook that was catching and shredding the thread. I was able to file it smooth with a metal file and now works fine.
