Worth it.
I bought these to replace the blown out factory speakers of my 2008 Pontiac G6.I wanted to find a happy medium of a good speaker for a great price. And these fit that niche very nicely. I trust infinity to have solid good products, and they have not let me down.I use the factory radio with my phone playing YouTube music through the usb-c port to analog input on the radio front.I am no audiophile, but I do know good sound when I hear it, and these are great. Give them a few days of moderate use to give them their "break-in", and you'll find firm deep bass that doesn't get weak even though you turn down the volume. There's a button on the speaker that let's you tweak the tweeters slightly. It's either on, or off: for what I like in sounds, I have it on. I like the option though, and I can hear the higher tones come from behind me. To me, it helps "balance" the tones.I eventually plan to buy their 6.5: speakers/tweeters to have all the speakers match. If you're like me and try to research the crap out of things; these are a great solid choice.

Badass with the right amp
These are the best car speakers I've ever had, they just hammer out bass! I'm driving 4 of them with a 400watt Infinity K4 amp (100watt per speaker). When you read the reviews I seriously think that any negative reviews are from dumbasses that don't realize you need to install an amp to drive them full-power! These have great bass on their own, but if you really want deep hard hitting bass you need a separate sub woofer. I have a JL audio stealth box under by backseat with two 10" subs and it's amazing in every way! Absolutely the best setup for a Ram 1500 quad cab.I Installed them in my 2017 Ram 1500 and they fit in the front and rear doors with little effort. The speaker comes with a spacer that I had to trim down to half height to make the speaker not hit the grille or window mechanism behind it. This might seem annoying but it's a 20 min step that made them fit perfect. I used a dremel with a cutting disk to split the spacer to half height.

2002 Dodge Ram
Fit perfect on my front doors, no cutting or spacers needed. just plug and play. I bypassed my factory Infinity amp since it only plays bass in the front doors (this means i hooked them up strait to my stereo). Loud bass and tweets and I havent even hooked up my after market amp yet.First you should hookup both speakers , and if you dont feel the bass, then cross your + and - connectors on one of the speakers. You should be able to hear and feel the difference. then just sit back and enjoy... maybe do a little dance with your truck, after all she takes you wherever you want.

Sound good. Grill mounting was puzzling, and instructions were useless.
I bought these to put in some slim speaker boxes I was building - after having Infinity speakers in my 5.1 home theater setup, I was glad to purchase these based on that experience and quality. These sounded fine once I managed to install them, but there was a couple of frustrating hours where I couldn't figure out the grille mounting. I called their customer support and they said the grill either had magnets or 'snapped on', but neither seemed true. I was puzzled by the screw holes behind the grill (see pic) and the included instructions are just wordless pictures which only made me more frustrated. Finally, after an hour of jacking with them and trying to dream up how to modify/glue them on, the screen part popped off in my hand (see additional pic). I see now that the manufacture has replied to my question that I posted here on Amazon, and he is completely right. I just wish he had been the person I talked to at customer support instead of the one I spoke to. In closing, I hope this helpful rep takes my pictures and adds them to the install guide/support pages because this info is no where to be found. Thank you.

Way better than stock
It is very rare for me to write reviews, especially on car audio gear. I have a 2019 F150 with the seven speaker non-Sony system. I replaced the door speakers upfront initially with Rockford Fosgate units, a brand I previously had very good success with. They sounded no better, and possibly even worse than the factory front door speakers! These were a bit pricier, but absolutely worth the expense. Much better soundstage and cleaner bass. Admittedly, the stock had unit is not going to thump but then again, I'm a 60-year-old guy and I'm not trying to rattle the car next to me.

Best 6x9s I've ever bought
Granted its been decades since I was buying speakers for cars but these things are killer. I would have loved to had them back in the 80s/90s. Even with factory deck it thumps and very clear even on factory head unit. Has a button for gain. The only thing I didn't like and didn't use was the upper bracket/grille as it is not shaped as the speakers and would have required cutting the deck carpet some. Was able to use the factory covers though. Sound quality wise these are awesome upgrades to a factory unit with room to grow if I wanted to add an amp.I'm a Infinity fan for life now.

Excellent replacement for factory speakers.
I replaced the crappy front door speakers on my girlfriend's 2013 Toyota Sienna with these Infinitys. The difference in sound, with the factory radio still in place, is amazing. She came out to listen after I finished the installation and her eyes and mouth couldn't have opened wider... very happy. "Night and day" as she described it.
