Nice solution for ventilation for two bathrooms
I got very tired of the noisy fans operating in our washrooms. The bathroom mirrors fogged up after every shower or bath. The walls were dripping with water and mould was beginning to grow.

Excellent attic-installed exhaust fan option
My master bath had three independently controlled exhaust fans: one in the toilet area, one in the shower and one in the built-in laundry area. When these devices began to die, I thought it would be wise to find a single, more powerful unit to install in the attic that could draw from all three. That led me to this device. The installation of this device is straightforward. It's best installed between two ceiling joists so that it's out of the way and doesn't transmit vibration or motor noise through the ceiling. My single problem with the device installation related to finding proper inlets to use in the ceiling to replace the existing fans. I know that these exist, but I simply could not find anything appropriately sized for the existing holes. My workaround, which is not necessarily permanent, was to remove the motor and fan parts from within the existing fans and use the body of the old unit as the inlet. It works. On the plus side, this fan works well to handle all three inputs simultaneously. Both the shower and toilet fans were 6-inch outputs, while the laundry was a 4-inch. I created a series of connections with "dampers" so that I could maximize or control the flow from each input. If you're installing this to replace a single existing fan, or if this is a completely new installation, I would say that this is an easy installation. If you're trying to combine multiple existing inlets, it becomes significantly more difficult. But as a standalone product, I think this is a quality item that I would order again without hesitation. It's less expensive to purchase than multiple fans and is by far easier to install in a new installation. It's also more powerful and quieter than most any other alternative.

Not as quiet as I'd hope
The media could not be loaded. Not as quiet as I would hope. I have a home theater in my finished garage that gets hot and stuffy as all the equipment gives off heat and I needed an exhaust fan to help ventilate the room. Unfortunately this fan is too loud. Another negative is the duct adapter is made of thin plastic, I think over tightening or repeatedly removing and installing will eventually crack it. Ducts are not included, you have to purchase seperately. This model seems generic, looks like many of the other sold on Amazon, I think I will be looking into a brand name unit that is quieter. The price for this I dont feel is justified for generic brand.

Very Nice Quality - Very Quiet
Here are the things I thought were great about this product:- Quality. It is super well built, all metal.- Quiet. It is super quiet, especially for how much air it moves. There is almost no "motor" noise at all.- It moves some serious air.- It comes pre-terminated, ready to plug into an outlet.- Multi-room ability.Things you should be aware of:- Price. You pay more for a quality product, but the price tag on this guy is significant, especially compared to single-vent options.- Size. This thing is a beast, check the dimensions before purchasing. Especially in an attic where this thing is typically going to live, size may be a consideration.- Weight. This thing is heavy, especially considering you will be bringing it up to the attic. Make sure you know that. All in all, this is a nice product that I think is worth the price tag.
