Perfect for air travel. They stay cold for about 12 hours. Just a tip: TSA will let these pass easily if you have medicine in the container. If you are traveling with them and don’t have vials inside they will take away the frozen gel .

I compared this cooler bottle to another Name Brand unit and it outperformed the Brand unit over my 2-day test. This bottle kept consistent very cold temperature for over 24 hours and remained under 50 degrees for another 24 hours. During the 2 days tested, it never got so warm that the medicine would be affected. However, the Name Brand unit only lasted half as long & during the second day, the inside bottle temp was 75 degrees, the same as my kitchen. It was like I'd left the lid off the bottle. My decision was made! Plus the better bottle came with a sleeve to protect the medicine bottles.

So far this is the only option for travel with GLP1 shots I’ve had success using. Bags styles will burst and shots disperse meds into the bag. The only issue with this is TSA will stop you in security. Make sure you label it medication do not shake!

As a Type I diabetic, I always have to travel with my insulin. I have another soft gel pack, that I have been using; however, it is a hit and miss about how cold it is and how long the insulin will stay cold. It also mildewed on my last trip. This container comes with a couple of cold packs, but also includes a thermometer to know exactly how cold the insulin storage is. I only wish that a smaller size was available. I only need to carry one insulin vial for my pump, and this is really large for my carryon. I am almost always stopped at TSA check-ins, and this will really throw up a red flag. It will however hold insulin pins and other medication that needs to stay cold. I would recommend this.
