400watts? Doubtful.
I didn't put these speakers through any gauntlet of tests. I plugged them in and played music through them that I liked and listened to often. My first impression is that they are a nice set of Bluetooth speakers. I weas actually slightly impressed with the all around sound. decent bass without being boomy. Many times a small set like this will sound boomy-like when you turn it up. I think a small eq adjustment could improve the sound a bit but I have no problems with it sounding the way it is. I used my phone and it hooked up quickly. My one pet peeve is the advertised watts. The product description will state 400 watts max even though everyone knows 400w means 200w nominal. The truth hear is that each channel is 200 watts max, which means 100 watts nominal and I don't think it's even that much. I would be willing to say 50w nominal both channels. I have 400 watts and I've had speakers that could handle 400 watts and let me tell you I don't think these speakers could handle 400 watts nor are they pushing 400 watts. I've actually had louder computer speakers. The bottom line is these speakers are loud enough for listening at your computer desk. I know they are outdoor speakers and would work fine and probably won't disturb the neighbors too much.Connectivity: You have the choice of Bluetooth and using your own power amp if you don't turn the speakers on; you can use them as passive speakers, according to the manual. I'm making this inference from the manual's photos. The left speaker is definitely a passive speaker because it is receiving it's signal and being powered by the right speaker. If you have an amp you can run wires to that passive speaker. The same can be true of the right speaker. However, you need to leave the power off. I'm inferring this from the product manual. They show left and right connections from an amp and only the amp is powered up. I have not checked this out yet and I don't have time to. I could be wrong. If I'm right then these are not stereo speakers. I'm sorry but I cannot verify this kind of stuff right now on my phone. It would've been nice if they had included a few banana plugs with this set because the speakers are equipped with banana plugs. The instructions also state to hook in the wires on the back you unscrew clockwise and tighten counterclockwise. This of course is not true. The opposite is true. I think whomever wrote these manuals has a clock that's running backwards. I also couldn't find the ohms rating but I'm guess it's 8 because if they were 4, hooking them together would equate to 2 and I'm pretty sure this little amp inside can't handle 2 ohms.I think these could be used in a variety of places. For example, you could hang these in your garage, or any room in your house, or outside where you can rock your neighbors if you like.Overall, I think these are a decent set of outdoor bluetooth speakers.

Easy to set up and install
I am not tech savvy at all so getting these was a bit intimidating. I really thought I would have to have my husband set them up or give them to him to use in his shop. We have an annual Halloween party coming up and I really wanted to be able to play music or sounds outside. These sat for a couple weeks while I debated, but I finally said "Im going to just take them out and see." The directions were super easy to follow and they were almost just plug and play easy. I was able to connect them and set them up myself. It maybe took me less than 10 min. I may need to hide these from my husband and buy a few more for the rest of my patio. I can't wait for summer to come back again for bbqs and get togethers with music

A touch bright, but sound really good. IPx6 water rating is false. NOT WEATHERPROOF.
> STUDIOFINIX 6.5 Inch 400W Outdoor Bluetooth Speakers Waterproof Wired, Wall Mount Speakers All-Weather Durability for Patio, Covered, Deck, Porch, Pool (~$130)The Good:+ Great separation of low/mid/high. Mostly flat with rise on the highs, but treble is not harsh.+ Solid cases, adds to sound appropriately, no rattling or phasing from port that I could detect+ No hiss or hum during quiet passages, or detectable distortion when loud+ Good power, can easily fill a room, but 200W per channel is not correct. Maybe 200W max, if that.+ Good balanced sound at different volumes; bass still detectable at low gain. The Bad:- Lows are a little weak, could benefit from a subwoofer. That little 6.5" speaker is pushing a lot of air, but cannot keep up with the bass at higher volumes.- No aux input, BT only. I really wish it also had balanced XLR L/R line inputs.- Verbal voice synth "Connected" every time, which is getting old, fast. A quick, low volume 2-note tone going up in pitch would be far better, no sound even better except when pairing. Walk out of range with connected phone, even not playing anything, and it reconnects and tells you it's connected. Thanks, but please be quiet, synthetic voice.- Tuned ported cabinet (hole to allow better bass response) makes me doubt the IPx6 rating which claims it handles strong jets of water from any direction. If water gets into the port, I see no exit and water will build up inside the case. I HIGHLY DOUBT THIS RATING IS CORRECT.Overall, these seem to be really good speakers for the price, but I'd ignore the IPx6 rating and treat more like IPx4 (occasional splash of water) at best. I really want to hose it down to test, but I like these speakers enough that I don't want to destructively test them. These make some ROWDY desktop speakers which is how I'm using them at the moment, but they can get loud enough to damage hearing if used over a long period at high volume. They'd also be good monitors with their mostly-flat sound, except they're bluetooth only.Edit: due to some unexpected rain while using them outside, I have indeed confirmed lack of any IP water rating. I now have a cabinet full of sloshing water. Pity, I liked these speakers. Probably safe underneath the soffet of a roof, but DEFINITELY NOT IPx6.

Great effective way to add sound to our back yard
These outdoor speakers are quite large for the amount of sound that comes out of them. While the sound is nice at lower levels, when you crank it it starts to sound flat and muddy. I doubt that the speakers can handle the stated 400w of sound, but they are decent for how we are using them which is bird and nature sounds. We placed these higher up in a tree because we did not want to have to install them on our brick wall. Wiring them together was quite simple but they do have to be connected to each other in order for both of them to work. Bluetooth connects quickly and has a good range. We've only had one light rain since placing these in our yard and they seem to be holding up. We will see how they work and last after the rainy winter months.
