Q: What's the maximum amount used before it dilutes the body filler?

Depends on how Dry the filler is us as much to make the filler creamy

Q: Looking for a clear filler than can be brushed on to stabilize a gourd sculpture. Can this be used to make walls thicker from the inside of gourd?

I'm not sure it would dry clear. I used this item to make auto body filler have a more liquid consistency to spread easier. You would still need a hardner and depending on the hardner color the color may change once dried.

Q: Can this be used with long strand body filler. Ie kitty hair-tiger hair?

Yes it can. I believe it was initially produced specifically for Fiber Glass fillers. This stuff is amazing! I would recommend adding a little at a time depending on the consistency you're looking for. I've used it on 2 occasions: 1- To thin out New Glaze for skim coat. 2- To "bring back to life" a can of Polyester Glaze that had dried out to the consistency of Peanut Butter. I only used up approximately 1/4 can of Honey.
