Cuisipro Foodservice Rotary Grater, Silver

I purchased this grater to replace a plastic grinder that had a similar design. The plastic one didn't work as well,felt flimsy, and would actually grind small grains of plastic in with the cheese. This grater is very well built and grinds well. The metal construction gives it a solid feel that should last many years. I took off 1 star because the vender didn't inclued any information about replacemeny parts. I would like to add second grinding tube for a less coarse grind option but there isn't any information as to whether that would be available.

Awesome performance, very sturdy. Previous plastic based devise became nonfunctional at about 3 months of once a week use. Cleans up easily.

This grater is poorly designed and I would not purchase it again. Its opening is 2" wide, but it can only grate cheese that is 1 5/8" wide and perfectly centered. Plastic bands on the outside edges of the grating cylinder designed reduce the area for grating. So, if you put in a piece of cheese that is 1 7/8", the grater will not produce any grated cheese. The attached picture shows the plastic bands that reduce the working area of the grating cylinder. (The plastic bands are necessary to reduce friction when turning the cylinder.)The cylinder also does not always rotate smoothly.

The grater lasted about two weeks before one of two plastic bushings on the grater barrel tore and fell off. Very disappointing as it worked well for hard cheeses with a very fine grate.. Another drawback of grater is the handle is uncomfortable.

This grater appears to be made well. It is sturdy and works easily. it could be easier to hold, the handle design is somewhat uncomfortable, but overall a good product at about the average price for a stainless steel cheese grater. My only real complaint is that even the company that makes it does not offer the other grating wheels listed as sold separately.

Haven’t used it yet but seems to be solid. NOT HAPPY ABOUT MADE IN CHINA!!!!!

I have had many cheese graters, including an electric one from Italy, which died after a year of use. Recently I had a plastic one similar to this one but it was difficult to clean. I was in an Italian restaurant in Santa Barbara and the waitress was using the Browne Foodservice grater. The minute I saw it I knew It was the one I had to have. The stainless steal is great and the best part is how it comes apart so that cleaning is easy

This product is terrible! I only gave it one star, because I couldn't give it zero. We bought two graters to replace a couple of old Mouli graters. I gave one away to family, which broke almost immediately. The second, which still works, is extremely painful to use. While the top half of the handle has a flat piece of metal to squeeze, the bottom half has two metal rods, which when squeezing can be quite uncomfortable. I am already looking for a replacement.
