Great staple food for aquatic turtles and other aquatic reptiles. The floating sticks make feeding easy and mess-free since they don’t immediately sink, and my turtle goes right for them. The pieces are a good size, not overly dusty, and easy for turtles to bite and chew. I like that this is a complete diet with added vitamins and minerals, so I feel confident using it as a regular food rather than just an occasional treat. The large 2 lb container is also a great value and lasts a long time, especially if you have more than one turtle. Overall, reliable quality, good nutrition, and very convenient for daily feeding.

I switched to these for my turtles and noticed a big difference in how eagerly they eat at feeding time. These sticks float nicely on the water’s surface, which makes it easy for all my turtles to nibble without struggling. The formula seems nutritious and balanced; their shells and activity level have been great since I started using it. The 1.43 lb lasts a good while, so it’s a solid value for frequent feedings.

We have four aquatic turtles, and all four appear to love these floating food sticks. I am no turtle expert, but these seem to to provide complete nutrition for ours. We only rarely need to provide alternates. These floating sticks are a good size. We have one tiny turtle (shell slightly larger than a golf ball), one medium-sized, and two larger turtles (shell more like a volley ball), and we have no problem feeding all three with this sticks just as they are. As long as we don't over-feed the turtles, these sticks don't make a big mess of the tank. This container (5.5 lbs) is no joke. It is absolutely huge. If you have enough turtles to feed, as we do, this can an economical way to feed them -- that is, if you get it at a good price (the price seems to vary rather dramatically from time to time). It was less than $100 when we ordered, which made it a good value per pound. And, as a side note, our cats strangely (at least it seems strange to me) love these as well. As for aquatic turtle food, it seems hard to do better this (and we have tried many).

A better price for the amount of food supplied than the previous size container I was purchasing, but I found it difficult to open initially. With the can I had been buying I could just shake a little out at each feeding. I couldn’t do that with this tub. I needed to scoop out some with a cup or spoon. I ended up refilling my old turtle food can for ease of feeding, and storing the rest in the tub until the can needs to be refilled.

This is the only turtle 🐢 food mine will eat, I got tired of buying the little cans. So I got this big one an it has lasted a very long time wish I had seen it before I did good quality food for my friend an it doesn't smell bad at all.

My (rescue) turtle has eaten ReptoMin since she I rescued her when she was the size of a toonie back in 1998. She sometimes catches live larvae, minnows, insects and the occasional frog from spring to fall when she is outside in her small pond, in an escape-proof 30' x 90' enclosure. As she is older now, she prefers vegetation which grows in and around her pond. I supplement with a small handful of ReptoMin every 3 weeks. She is a healthy girl, even at 25 years of age, so proper feeding has contributed to that.

My turtle enjoyed these at the start but got over them quickly . Good size container for the price , I won’t buy again though I’ll stick to other brands that my turtle eats
