Do the job, easy to control.

These are a high quality unit to allow sockets to be remotely controlled via various apps and protocols. However, they come into their own when used with EcoFlow's PowerStream microinverter which can be configured to boost its output when triggered by a SmartPlug, and hence make use of solar energy stored in an EcoFlow unit like their Delta range. The SmartPlugs are a bit pricy at the full ~£34 RRP but can sometimes be purchased directly from EcoFlow on Amazon for much less.

I bought this because we have had power problems recently and I wanted protection for a server, ONT, router, switch and WiFi mesh main node. This was a bit more expensive than conventional UPS units I looked at, but that lot together draw 77W according to the River 3 display and it should keep providing power for a few hours.Within days of installing we had a power cut whilst someone in the house was in a Teams meeting on a laptop and the meeting kept going. Very happy.
