So far I am impressed with the cyelee g cat optic. It really feels like a quality piece. It was easy to mount. The dot is nice and clean. The lens is clear. I will known more after I get a chance to sight it in. If all goes well I am looking forward to trying the cat pro in the future.

Initial alignment is challenging to a first time user but becomes easier with practice. The sight picture is larger than my previous unit. This sight works great for EDC on my M&P Shield. Install was easy, and the battery life has been really good with the shake to awake feature. A must have!

First day using the red dot got it zeroed in about 10 min. Nice quick and easy. After about 50 rounds held zero. Used the red dot to rack the slide… instantly lost zero. Re zeroed. Drop the gun on a wood table about a foot from the table. Completely lost zero. Re zeroed again. Was a little more gentle this time, went to holster the firearm with a little bump of the optic on the side of the holster… suprise lost zero. Sucks, had high hopes from all the positive YouTube videos just for it to be trash

Not impressed..the dot is more of a blurry line ..the screws that was supposed to work only grip about 2 turns.. definitely gonna use some loktite.supposed to turn off after a few minutes..it's been 15 minutes and it's still on..ok it's off nowIf I was too do it again..this would not be the one

I dropped the slide of my gun (detached from the gun) from about 3ft onto pavement .. the slide landed on the barrel opening then on its side, and still cracked the glass on my cyelee green dot. Seems like an indirect drop should not have cracked the glass. Direct drops would almost certainly break it if your concerned about durability. Otherwise the dot worked well. I liked the larger viewing window when compared to other dots.

This green dot runs on CR1632 battery. The site is waterproof. You can adjust dot brightness. I prefer green to red because I mostly shoot during the day and dot brightness is important to me. Green light has a shorter wavelength than red and hence is brighter for the same battery consumption, laser LED power levels. Site has vertical and horizontal adjustment screws. It came with several machine screw kits, each for a different mount type. 3 moa dot size is good for target shooting of up to 100 feets. If you leave the device on it will shut off automatically in 4 minutes. It will then turn on automatically as soon as you shake it and will stay awake for another 4 minutes.
