Good oil for frying. I made some cornbread patties and fried them in this oil. They were crisp and very good! I also, cook some French fries too. They were good too! I do like the dark bottle in comes in! According to my study on line Avocado Oil is better for you then Canola oil or Veg. oil. Avocado Oil: About 70% of avocado oil is composed of heart-healthy oleic acid, with around 13% polyunsaturated fat and 12% saturated fat. This high oleic acid content is associated with reduced inflammation and improved heart health.

Great Value is fake, this is real. After the fake oil almost burnt our house down, we found out the value is buying real avocado oil. Ditch the fakes and get the real stuff. Picture is from where the Walmart stuff caught fire. We didn't know Walmart sold fake avocado oil and I advise you to not buy the cheap stuff buy the real. It is more than just a high smoke point, others will literally catch fire, and I don't know if you have tried to put out an oil fire, but it's not fun.

I bought some for $15.32 for 2 liters, a great bargain. It seemed like such a good deal I decided to buy some more and now the price is nearly doubled, no longer the bargain it was last week. I didn't buy again. I don't know if first time purchasers can still get the low price or not but I'd grab some if you can. I haven't used mine yet but the label says it's 100% pure avocado oil. It doesn't say if it's cold pressed and I suspect if may not be and that's why it's such a bargain, but unlike with olive oil, you generally want this frying oil to have a neutral taste so that's OK (the chief benefit of cold pressing is to preserve unique flavors in oils you use without heating).
