Small book has alot of info on refurbishing watches. I use just part of it to get started. Good resource.

I happen to like the way this book is written and the fact that it is easy to follow. I plan on using it more.

Fixing watches is something that I have never really considered doing. I have a few watches that no longer work that I just have in my jewelry box as they hold a sentimental value. This book has given me the confidence to at least try to fix the watches. This would be a great hobby if you are like me and have some watches lying around that would need to be fixed.

Do not buy this book! Unfortunately, this book does not do more than introduce the user to the barest minimum vocabulary of horology. It has no useful instructions for troubleshooting common issues, let alone actual repairs. Save your money and look up watch repairs on Youtube.

Very Informative Book.

I bought this book expecting lots of helpful illustrations, but there are barely any inside. The title is just not accurate. Tried to return it, but Amazon only refunded half my money. Honestly, it’s not even worth that. The book should be retitled so buyers know what they’re actually getting.

This book will teach you all about watch repair. You’ll learn about the different parts of watches and how the come together to make the timepieces that have been around for centuries. You’ll learn to repair the classic and the modern watch. A great hobby or even a side job

I have collected watches of all kinds for many years and some unfortunately no longer work and when I saw the book I immediately wanted to buy it. I found it really comprehensive and contains a detailed guide to watch repair, with descriptions of the movement, watch parts and common stops of wristwatches. It is written in clear, simple language and with helpful illustrations that enabled me, with the necessary equipment, to repair my first two watches with ease. I am very satisfied.

I am confused: almost no pictures, definitely no pictures of any deeper meaning, no illustrations at all, vague texts offering no real guidance, especially not for beginners. To me this "book" (less than 100 pages) was a total waste of time and money.
