Green-Ox® Renew

This product is great. I live in the Midwest and have been using this product a few years. I have a composite deck and every spring I use Green Ox to clean it. My deck looks amazing and it’s environmentally free and safe around pets.

Was planning on pressure washing my deck and fence this spring and just happened to see this on amazon. It claimed that it did not require any pressure washing or scrubbing. While I was doubtful, I decided $29.99 was worth a shot as renting a pressure washer is easily $100.The product came in 2 parts ( a gallon of cleaner and a super activator) I placed the product in my garden sprayer and mix it by shaking for about a minuet. I sprayed it on my deck and fence and it foamed up white everywhere. I let it sit for 30 minuets as the label suggested and took my garden hose and rinsed it off.My 30 year old fence and 20 year old deck looked like new wood I just bought at the hardware store.I would recommend this product to anyone who wants incredible results and wants to save time.

Renew really did clear the grayboff of most of the wood. A second cote was needed to get all of the wood looking good. I chose it to use around horses. Renew did not negatively effect them in any way. The only down side I saw was that ilRenew did discolor the water barrier under the metal roof. Renew did not effect anything on the ground around it when we washed it off.

At first I didn't have a sprayer, so I mixed some of the mixture in a bucket and used an old broom to brush it on my deck. I let it sit for 15 minutes and sprayed it off-some spots were clean, others there was no change. I decided to get a garden sprayer and mixed the remaining product, sprayed it on the deck, let sit for 15 minutes and sprayed it off. Again, not a huge change. Maybe its because the proportions were off since I mixed in 2 batches. A few things I didn't like were that the instructions were not very clear-I looked on the company's website and there was no information there, either. I didn't want to mix the entire batch at once, because I wasn't sure what to do with any leftover (it says to use within 1-2 hours). It says one gallon would cover 350 sq feet, however our deck is 200 sq feet and I ran out before I finished the deck. So now I'll have to buy something else and probably redo the entire thing. My advice to anyone using this is to make sure you mix correctly, use a sprayer, and don't work in direct sunlight.

Nothing to review,total waste of time and money. I went another route a lot cheaper and way more effective.

This product is not cruelty free!! They do test on animals!! I personally am not going to support any company that test on animals!!
