HUGE hit at 2 y/o birthday party
These were a HUGE hit at my daughter's birthday party! The kids seriously went wild for them, and it was so adorable to see them zooming back and forth with a passel of "doggies" in tow. The kids took them home as party favors as well.We got a helium tank from Party City and blew them up just an hour or so before the party started, so we didn't have any trouble with deflation. They were very easy and fast to inflate. (I tried to *deflate* one afterward to store for later use, though, later as other reviewers have mentioned doing, and had trouble getting the air out.)There do seem to be 2 different types/quality of balloons included -- one is the thicker, shinier Mylar you usually see in helium balloons; the other is a thinner plastic (maybe also Mylar, just single-layered instead of double?). The thinner balloons seemed to lose air more quickly -- the doggies were listing a bit the next day, whereas the shinier/heavyweight balloons kept their air for multiple days. It's literally 2 months post-party and we still have 1 of those heavier-weight doggie balloons in our living room, which we re-inflated with regular air (not helium) once. She can still bat it around and play with it, but I do recommend helium if you're using them for an event -- it's much cuter.Overall these were a fantastic buy, and I was super pleased with them. I think we will do similar balloons (zoo animals? dinosaurs? sky's the limit) for next year's party!

Very cute!
Got this for a second birthday party. I read a review that helium isn't necessary. My husband and I used metal reusable straws to inflate them ourselves. You can't just blow them up, there's a valve which needs to be pushed through before you can inflate them.Without helium they don't balance properly on their feet, but are still cute. The quality was a little inconsistent. Some deflated immediately because the valve wouldn't reseal properly. Tape worked for a while. But one of them is still in my living room and has become a favorite toy. The birthday was almost a month ago. The legs and ears came off long ago but it hasn't lost air.Since I read that some were defective I bought two packs. I didn't use both because enough of them were good. The kids and parents at the party loved them.

Good
These were a hit at my 4 year olds Birthday Party. I blew one up with regular air to see if it would work. It was ok, but it kept falling over. I took the rest to Party City where they charged me $1.99 each to blow up the rest with helium. That was much better. They actually floated a little off the ground so you can walk them. With regular air it was more like dragging them. The overall quality is 4 stars because the outside parts, like the ears and feet came off fairly easily. I tried to pick one up by the ear and the ear came off. You can easily tape them back on. As far as staying afloat after the helium the quality is great. Its been 3 days since the party and the ones we have left are still floating/walking around the house. If you have kids that are super ruff, then they are likely to pop, but at the same rate as any other balloon that you buy from any party store would pop as well.

Awesome Party Favors
These puppy balloons are ridiculously cute.I used them for a cat and dog themed birthday party and all of the boys and girls age ranges 2 - 10 absolutely loved these. Even the adults enjoyed these and asked where to get them. These were the hit of the party and they went home as party favors. You get 10 unique pups. Each one comes with a ribbon leash attached. There are a couple downsides:The point at which the ribbon attached to the balloon is a weak spot. Almost every single one of our dogs ended up roaming leashless after the hole on the balloon ripped. Luckily, the legs and feet act as weights so our dogs did not blow away even though they were filled with helium.Second, there are different qualities of dog balloons in the set. The white dogs are a thinner plastic and start to deflate within a day. You get mylar balloon dogs too and they are much better quality and last longer.

BEST PARTY FAVORS EVER!!!!
I bought two sets of these for a birthday party for 8 year old boys in Greenwich Ct, I mention Greenwich because it's pretty sophisticated and these kids act so grown up sometimes-But these were the Biggest Hit! All the kids said it was the best party ever and I think these are what did it. When I had them inflated and walked out of Party City holding them by their strings/ribbons I looked like a professional Dog walker. They brought laughter and delight to all who saw. They're just wonderfully fun and adorable!

These dogs were such a hit at my kids' party!
I had no idea when I ordered these dog balloons how awesome they would be. When they are filled with helium, the legs & feet are just heavy enough to weigh them down to ground level, so they literally stand up on their feet (bouncing slightly) and with a ribbon attached to the front of the collar, a child can walk these dogs around - absolutely hilarious! We had a pool party and the dog balloons were such a hit that at one point no kids were even in the pool, they were just all walking dogs around. I wish I had ordered 2 packs of dogs because every child wanted to bring a dog home with them but there were only 10 dogs and about 18 kids. My children have requested to have these dog balloons at every future birthday party. If you are on the fence, just go for it, these are absolutely worth every penny and more!

Lots of laughing... very clever idea! 🤣
I loved the idea of these balloons!Very clever!!!Unfortunately for me I had difficulty inflating balloons.. 1st I thought bicycle pump would work— wrong! Wrong connection type... 2nd finally found someone with “basketball” pump that I could borrow... It was Christmas and stores were closed.. 3rd tried ball pump, which worked, but required too much effort and time to inflate 12 balloons... I got 3 out of 12 inflated...I gave 4 points because I laughed so much for 3 weeks prior to Christmas because of the idea of having 12 dogs walking around my living room on Christmas Day And they cost about a dollar a piece and I laughed about that much...If you buy these plan how you will inflate them and inflate at least one before you need them.... and be sure to enjoy your sense of humor ! Ha!
