Lorus Mens Analogue Classic Quartz Watch with Leather Strap RH911JX9

This is a really nice super affordable watch, the only thing I didn't like was the ghastly strap which is mostly plastic with the thinnest leather lining on top, but for the price, I was hoping compromises were made on the strap and not the watch, I can easily afford to buy a better strap.Ideal for someone who rarely wears a dress watch, but every now and then needs something that looks smart and tells the right time.Water resistance and 'easy to read' aren't the best measures for this item, it's about looking smart and not being junk at a really affordable price

The watch arrived a day early, so that was good.It's a very nice looking watch and is well made, the dark blue face in most lighting conditions apart from daylight looks black, the watch case is bigger than I expected , width of 29mm is fine but the length is 44mm, no more than 40mm is my size, although I can see the time without my glasses with this wrist clock, my preferred size of wrist watch watch is no more than 38mm, like my Citizen eco drive which is now 13 years old [why the craze for wrist clocks and not wrist watches?]As others have said the strap is leather on top and plastic underneath, and very stiff, my watch was ticking away in the box for I don't know how long? normally there is a spacer between the crown and watch to stop it working until the crown is pushed back in, I nearly forgot, the date is hard to see, but that is the case with every "date" watch I have had .All in all a smart watch, just wish is wasn't so bigThe battery is not lithium as in the listing, it's an ordinary SR626SW cell battery

Good inexpensive watch, easy to set up, keeps good time and looks good

Elegant looking watch, very nice strap. Essentially exactly the same as my last Lorus, which lasted almost a decade because I did my own battery changes. That one had a screw on back, needing a special tool to get it open; being rectangular, this one has a case I can open with a penknife.In terms of styling, if it didn't have "Lorus" printed on the dial, it could easily pass for a Rotary.

This is a good valued watch, especially if you like tank styled watches. Its got good build quality and a classic metallic ticking noise, I love it!

The watch looks good and wears well and looks more expensive than £27.99, my only criticism is the strap is poor quality and I will replace it. The watch dimensions are 40mm x 30mm x 10mm and 24mm between the strap lugs. This is different to the Amazon product description which is incorrect.

Great looking watch, it's very water resistant and it's affordable at a decent price. It arrived on time as told.

I like the watch. The watch face is larger than I thought which is good. The day window is too small to really be of any use. The leather strap is only leather on the top the underside being plastic. The strap itself is a bit short it only just fits around my wrist. It seems to be keeping good time so far. I have not tested it for water resistance. The face is not as blue as I thought it would be but at certain angles the blueness can be seen but generally it does not look blue.In spite of all this it looks smart so I have decided to keep it.
