Product Description While chipset coolers becomes a popular and important upgrade for computer enthusiasts, finding a suitable thermal solution for chipset coolers is one of main missions to TITAN. It is clearly an issue as you see motherboards now need larger and more efficient cooling solutions. A more powerful chipset cooler could increase system stability allowing higher overclocking potential. TTC-CSC31TZ(RB), the Steel Heart, is constructed out of pure aluminum and the iron heart-like fin design originating from the movie- Iron Man, enables effective heat dissipation from CPU and quick temperature drop-off. Product Features Unique Iron heart-like (Iron Man) and aluminum extrusion-style fins for the optimal heat dissipation and a stable computing operation Easy installation with clips which support multi-pitch positions of Northbridge chipsA 5 cm low noise fan for rapid heat dissipation and a stable operation Product Specifications Cooler Dimension: Outline Dimension: 66X 60 X 40mm MMSpeed: Rated Speed: 5000 +/- 10% RPM RPMFan Dimension: 50 x 50 x 10 mmRated Voltage 12V DC Rated Current: 0.12APower Consumption: 1.44 WAirflow: 8.84 CFMStatic Pressure: 0.11 InchH2ONoise Level: <25 dBA Rotation Direction: Clockwise Bearing Type: Z-AXIS EBARING Life Time: 60,000 Hours

Fine cooler for legacy equipment
I have an old socket 939 Winfast MB running in a HTPC rig. It had an integrated Northbridge fan that failed, and the board quickly shut itself down due to overheat. Luckily, as few fans fit this configuration, this one did. The existing fan sat at a 45 degree angle to the components on the board, and my graphic card misses this new fan by millimeters, but it is fine. If I were running SLI, this would not work. If I were using any PCI cards that might be considered slightly longer than average, I might have to mount them in the lower slots on the board to avoid running into this cooler. Most importantly, my temps are cooler than the stock fan ever was by more than 5 degC, and it is whisper quiet compared to the stock one. The case fan is louder, and I never know this one is running -- it is that much quieter. Highly recommended as long as it holds up for a few more years.

... cooler with that being sead it itself is a great product good build quality and good little fan just ...
Sorry titan but this sould not be advertised as a northbridge chipset coller as with most newer mobo it dose not fit it is more likely that this is a southbridge cooler than a nirthbridge cooler with that being sead it itself is a great product good build quality and good little fan just might not fit all chipsets I know for a fack it will not fit asus 970 chipset and that us what I tryed to instal it on and nedless to say I am curently waiting for my rma on that board!!!

Doesn't fit all Northbridge chips
I could not use this cooler. The spring clips only mounted on corners opposite of where needed. My Intel x58 Northbridge chip would have have benefitted from the cooler, no doubt, and I did find one that fits. (Logisys CC2)

Good little cooler
Good little cooler, the fan is a smidge noisy but that's to be expected from a smaller fan going at 4.5k rpms keeps my north bridge cooler since I have 2 r9 390's underneath it which are like heaters, lol. Overall a good product, would recommend and buy again if the need arises for it.
