It works fine and does what I expected. Keep in mind the goose neck is very strong and hard to configure. But once you have it in place, it stays there. Would buy again

I have it on my nightstand. I love it. It’s a bit stiff and a little awkward to adjust but it works!!

When you read "Gooseneck" in the description - this isn't really gooseneck. I suspect it's the same for items to similar to this on Amazon but essentially it's just a coated piece of flexible metal. It will break eventually - just a matter of when. When you see gooseneck lamps at IKEA or even furniture stores - they're made up of many pieces strung together so that you can actually adjust the neck easily. Returning....

Pretty stiff and hard to use. Not easy enough to push out of the way before bed I usually have to take the entire thing down.
