Great starter library, easy to build
Put this together with my kiddo over the weekend, and it’s a nice solid little library! Was easy to mount on a 4x4 I put into the ground outside the house, and the metal roof should keep the rain out for a long time. Id recommend caulking or gluing around the seams at the top for a little extra water resistance from rain / wind, but fits plenty of books to get us started and help out the neighborhood. Also, no mdf or veneers here, all solid wood for every part, other than the back plywood piece. Will update as the seasons go

Cozy Garden Setup – Easy Assembly and Relaxing Vibes
Took me about 20 minutes to put together—super simple if you follow the pictures. All the tools and parts are included, and everything fits just right. Be gentle with the door, as flexi-glass can scratch easily—also, don’t over-tighten the screws. If you have some wood glue, it’s a good idea to add a bit to the dowels for extra stability. It looks really nice in my garden setup, perfect for relaxing and reading a book in a hammock. Best placed in a spot with some shelter from the wind. I’d give it a solid five.

Fell apart after a light wind storm
Update: it fell apart after a light wind storm. It is not durable at all. My daughter has almost 300 books and she wanted to be able to give some away, so I got this for her. It was very easy to assemble, and it is waterproof. It fits about 15 books depending on thickness of the books.

Nice Starter Little Library
This is a good value - a cute little starter free library box. 3 things to note: the door is plexiglass not real glass (I scratched it up by using a razor blade to scrape excess paint off), the base is not even close to being secure enough on the post as-is (I added several more long screws directly through the bottom of the box into my post to secure it), I recommend painting it AFTER you assemble it (the thin back panel did not have enough gap to slide easily into the grooves after I painted it - also, that panel was warped so it was a tough fit). It's relatively easy to assemble, but please to secure it to your post better than the instructions provide. I also added a vintage look sign and a doggie poo bag dispenser to mine, which I think was a really nice touch.

Nice little kit!
This is something I've thought about doing for a while and I wanted to start out small and this is a nice little kit for it. One thing I as surprised about is just how heavy duty the top plate / roof is. I thought it was going to be plastic but turns out it's metal and feel like it will really hold up even with the amount of hail I get. I do think this needs to be painted to be outside but it's really easy to assemble and a good afternoon project.

Excellent low-cost Little Free Library kit
Very impressed witht this LFL, a very easy kit to assemble --- it reminded me a lot of something from Ikea. Less than clear instructions, but it did come together pretty well. One note - it is unfinished. I ended up painting mine with acrylic paint, and I also used a caulk on the interior edges to to improve the waterproofing. I mounted it on a cedar post that I had leftover from another project. But overall, this is a great buy. The price is excellent.

Good, but I am afraid it won't last
Ugh I am so torn on this review. I loved this box, easy to put together and looks great. We live in a super busy area and people are always in and out of the box, it did great for the summer season but now is falling apart. I had to do a bunch of maintenance yesterday to try and keep it together since the side and front panels were coming apart. I am super bummed because I spent a long time designing and painting it, so I am hoping my makeshift fixes do the trick. If you are in a less busy area, maybe this will hold up, but people just love this little library so it's opened and closed quite a bit.

Great for our community!
We put this up in our front yard and the neighbors love it! It’s well-made, looks nice and was easy to assemble. It’s been holding up great outdoors and encourages book sharing in our area. Both, kids and adults stop by regularly, which has created a fun sense of connection. A simple but meaningful addition to our neighborhood!
