Pleasant taste, includes a small scooper, easy to digest mixed in ice cold water. Drink up immediately, because, it does thicken quickly. Also I use one Dr. Tobias' Colon capsule every 2-3 days along with this product. At 77 years old, taking a variety of meds, including pain meds at times, constipation can be a challenge. These 2 products get the job done.

This product does what it says it will do. It is extremely effective, on a daily basis. Mixed with water it tastes like strawberries, and is an excellent value for the money! Easy to swallow and excellent quality. I will continue the daily regimen because it works!

The fiber content is sufficient. I love the effectiveness of it. It blends well with cold or hot beverages. It is just TOO SWEET! It makes me regular too.

If you are looking for a bit more natural alternative to Metamucil, this is such a winner. I can't stand plain psyllium powder; the taste makes me gag no matter what I mix it with. So I need something with a strong enough flavor to cover the taste of the psyllium. Metamucil does that well but as a person who drinks a fiber supp every morning consistently, I didn't want to be drinking all the food dyes and other additives of Metamucil every day. This has significantly less of those, but still a good strong flavor to cover the psyllium taste. It's colored with beet powder instead of dyes, sweetened with stevia, and has no mixing agent additives. That being said, without the mixing agents it does not dissolve into water like Metamucil does. So you have to tolerate a textured drink / re-stir between sips. I don't mind that. The strawberry flavor is really delicious and with the texture of the powder kind of evokes a strawberry smoothie. Just note that the serving size and scooper here are about half the size of Metamucil and most other fiber supps. So you will need to double the serving and have 2 scoops of this one to get the same amount of fiber. I do 2 scoops of this in a nearly full pint glass of water and that winds up comparable to other fiber supps.

So, the outcome of using Psyllium Fiber or just a fiber suppliment will change depending on the needs of the person and their need for it. If you want a simple fiber additive, or need it for medical reasons like myself (severe IBS). I think this might be ok as a product for the average person who just wants a suppliment and is not allegic to beets or the sweeting agent. I think the quality was amazing (perfect quality, excellent taste, easy to swallow), my problem is that there is some ingredient that caused me to have not only horrible GAS, but cramping. I don't know if it was because I went from 2 heaping Tablespoons x 2 times a days with Metamucil to one little scoop twice a day with this product, increased to 3 scoops a day (did not matter). But, there is no ingredient that this stuff should cost $27 for 60 servings when Metamucil costs $35 for 180 servings. That's an insane price difference. Anyhow, again 5 stars - on texture, 5 - stars on taste, 5 stars - on quality and mixing, 1 star - on price (did not realize until I received it), 1 star - on effectiveness with IBS, 1 star - severe gas, 1 star - several restroom runs in a day .
