The media could not be loaded. Bike LockThis bike lock arrives in a bubble wrap bag with a set of 3 keys and an instruction leaflet. It has a cover over the keyhole to protect it from mud, rain and frost, same with the actual chain; that too is covered in a padded material for the same reason. The advert says that it is a high security lock, but It doesn’t feel very heavy, so I wouldn’t use it to secure anything too expensive. It is easy to unlock with the key, once you’ve opened the keyhole, the mechanism is easy enough, and at least you haven’t got to worry about remembering anybody’s date of birth and fiddle with tiny dials to open the lock. Great that you get 3 keys with it too.At the time of writing this review, the price is £14.99.As always, I have added a few photos and a short video clip to this review which I hope you find helpful.

This lock is very heavy duty. To hold it's quite heavy. I think the look of it puts people off from messing with it. It has put my mind at ease.It looks like it would be a lot of effort to get through it, it feels and looks strong. I find it very reliable.There is a sliding door to reveal the keyhole. This helps to prevent the lock from going rusty.You get 3 keys which is handy. I have a habit of losing them.It’s simple to use and the lock operates smoothly.Recommended.

Looks like a good chunky lock, however my neighbour still managed to easily cut it off our gate so isn’t really theft proof

This is a great covered bike lock.This comes with 3 keys and luke has a cover on it to prevent rain getting in.Looking at the thickness I think if I really determined thief came with the right tools they would be able to break through it but it's fine for me just popping into the shops for a minute or two. My bike isn't that expensive but if I had a very expensive bike probably would want something a lot stronger.

I wanted a strong and reliable lock for my bike, and this Sportneer Bike Lock has definitely lived up to expectations. The chain is thick and sturdy, and the lock mechanism feels very secure. It gives me peace of mind knowing my bike is well-protected.

This bike lock is excellent value, for the cost it is brilliant quality and has great features found on locks much more expensive. It's faulrly heavy and substantial but does not have a third-party certification so I would not trust it in a high risk area for a long period, but it will protect against opportunist thieves in most situations. It's simple to use and the protective cover is a real bonus to stop paint damage and keep it quiet in my bag.
