I bought this drill to cut holes in an office desk I bought at a furniture warehouse, so that I could thread my computer wires in from down below the desk, where my outlets are. It's a good product for the price. Worked as well as expected. I'd recommend this product.

I would expect I'm not going to get many cuts out of it, but only needed one. It wandered about 1/8 inch not having a pilot bit. I don't need precision with my cut though. Just take your time. Let it cut with the weight of the drill on it. Keep it wet. I would buy it again if I needed to cut glass again.

Had a mirror installed a number of years back and the door handle would not work due to the thickness with the mirror. Glass company told me after installing mirror that I needed an extra thickness door handle assembly and left. I came up with the idea to cut the opening for the door handle larger. Checked out drilling glass on YouTube as I have never done this before. Made up a jig to hold the hole saw steady and clamped into place. Dipped the hole-saw in water and then slowly started drilling. I would stop every 5 to 10 seconds and re-dip the hole-saw in water to clean-out the filings and to prevent over-heating. Less than 5 minutes later I had drilled thru the 1/4" mirror. Re-installed the door handle assembly and everything works like it should. This project went easier than I thought it would. Thanks!

This is a quality drill bit for the money . I couldn’t believe how expensive these bits are in the big box store and I refused to pay $80 when i only needed to drill 1 hole through tiles. The speed and drill accuracy of this bit blew my mind ! It cut through the 2x4 tile like it was butter !
