Great product follow up for bedbugs extermination.

I have mixed feelings about this product. So let's break it down:Pros:-The thyme and geraniol are extremely effective repelling agents for bed bugs.Cons:-This product has no accompanying applicator. You will need to order something like a refillable plastic condiment container (like for ketchup) to put the powder in so you can easily poof/spread it into corners, crevices, and behind furniture-The geraniol and thyme create a VERY STRONG odor. Getting to sleep was difficult, but luckily it dissipated by the following day.In addition to this product I used Cimexa which I find to be much easier to apply. It works wet or dry, so i take some, put it in water, and basically paint it along all of my baseboards/furniture legs. It dries to a white color so it isn't as noticeable as this stuff which is more of a grey color. But this product does have a scent they don't like that drives them away. So I used this, cimexa, and bed bug covers for all the mattresses and pillows, as well as laundering everything and steam cleaning whatever I possibly could(because heat kills them as well.)No new bites.

Recently got back from a trip overseas, purchased these products to help prevent any sort of spread of bed bugs in case I brought any back!

The EcoPest Bed Bug Killer Dust is one pound of natural pumice powder with thyme and geraniol. It also contains sodium bicarbonate and calcium silicate. The dust is very gritty, like sand. I wanted this product because it is natural, and I have seen several articles saying pumice powder with thyme and geraniol is effective against various crawling insects like ants, roaches, silverfish, fleas, ticks, and bed bugs by dehydrating them through contact. I want to try using this in my garage, basement, and attic to see if it will reduce some of these pests. It is very easy to use. You just apply the powder where the bugs hide or congregate. The product has a mild, spicy smell due to the thyme and geraniol oils. I am satisfied with the product.

I am very unsure about effectiveness. The problem was never bad but I saw a few due to neighbors and having holes in our connecting walls. I poured it around edges of beds and under mattresses. It seems to be preventing but I can’t say that it kills them.

This will be the first time I've used pumice, as opposed to diachotomos earth, to keep bed bugs at bay. We live in a duplex and share a wall with someone whose home is infested. Ugh. Bed bugs are Very difficult to get rid of. I'm going to use the EcoPest pumice powder against our separating wall. I've used a duster to spread dichotomous earth and will do the same with the EcoPest. This makes application easy.I love the fact that this is non-toxic, safe for people and pets, and it also keeps and kills some other creepy crawlies. Looking forward to another summer without stress ... Or invitations next door.
