I stopped Statins, as this helped change my cholesterol levels. I take two of these daily, along with Berberine, Resveratol and a few other supplements to naturally lower my cholesterol. Many statins cause dementia and cause muscle pains, and I didn't want to take the risk. My HDL went up to 75. Still working on getting triglycerides lower, with more fiber and cholesterol lowering foods.

It was working fantastic!..even my Dr ask me if I was taking my pill that he prescribed, and I said no I’m taking Bergamot pill, and he said!….oh ok it’s lowering your bad cholesterol!….. But I’m subscribe & save!.. but it doesn’t come until March and I need now, so I went to get the bottom that I can get it now so I couldn’t bc it wasn’t there, I went to buy again I didn’t find it so I took a picture I order the original pill that I was taking it’s brown and the new one that I received is beige, containing the same amount of bergamot, but they added a lot of more staff that I don’t now what it’s, so I’m very disappointed I’m not buy this brand anymore, I hope the one I order is good it’s all bergamot and even more it contains 1,400 mg of Bergamot it’s cheaper. I will keep it posted.

I have been taking this for four months and just received my lipid panel results. In February my overall cholesterol was 257, this week it is 177. Triglycerides were 103 and now are 75. My LDL was 170 and now it is 101. My A1C was 5.6 and now it is 4.9. In a short time, I’ve had some pretty amazing results! Needless to say, I will continue taking this product. I still take just one a day. I am delighted to not have to take drugs to achieve healthy levels!Original review: I recommend taking this after eating a real meal. I typically have a high protein, very low carb drink for breakfast with coffee, but I get really queasy if I take this supplement after that. I thought maybe the coffee was the culprit, so I tried it a few times without drinking any coffee, but it didn’t help. I refuse to take statins for my high cholesterol because of the dementia risk of the drugs and their physical side effects, so I am trying this supplement. I haven’t taken it long enough to establish efficacy, but I’m committed to a six month trial. I have started eating a bowl of oatmeal with some walnuts and berries in the morning with my protein drink since the oatmeal can help lower cholesterol, too, and I’m tolerating the citrus bergamot well now. Also, I have only taken one capsule daily from the beginning as research suggests that is sufficient for results. I take my other supplements like probiotics and vitamins after lunch and haven’t had issues. Wanted to pass on my experience in case others have nausea/stomach upset issues with this supplement.

I’ve used this organic bergamot for a few years and mainly appreciated that it was USDA-certified organic. However, the recent price jump from $24.99 to $32.99 is too steep for me to justify continuing. That’s a significant hike, and I’ve since switched back to Double Wood Supplements.While Double Wood’s product isn’t organic, it is non-GMO, third-party tested in the U.S., and sourced from Italy — and at $24.95, it’s a much better value. More importantly, it actually delivered measurable results: when I retested my lipids while using the Double Wood formula, my triglycerides dropped significantly and HDL rose impressively. I didn’t get labs while using Nourishing Nutrients, so I can’t say if it had the same effect, but I assume it was beneficial.No side effects from either brand — both are well tolerated. I just can’t support the big price hike. If the cost comes back down, I’d consider returning.

These capsules were too large for me to swallow. I tried opening them to put in applesauce, which was very difficult. They appeared to have sealed the capsules so they don't leak. I cut them open and put in applesauce-- very bitter. I have switched to gummies but have not had lab work yet to know if the bergamot works for me.Additional info 1-19-25: company responded to my concerns, showing that they are a very good company to deal with.

I have been using this to help keep my LDL numbers in range and it does help with that.It keeps my overall cholesterol number where it should be.No after taste, easy to swallow and a good value.
