I have been using this machine twice a week for six weeks on a small area of excessive hair growth and the results have been very positive. There is markedly less hair growing now. The hair that does grow is much finer than before. I have only been using the first of the five power levels. My skin must be sensitive. Level 2 is quite uncomfortable so I have not even tried 3, 4 and 5. That said, over the weeks it has become less painful.There is a cooling function activated by pressing the button next to the power-on button. It makes the metal strips either side of the flashgun cold. It doesn't reduce the heat put out by the flash itself. I don't miss it.The only concern I have is that treating my hairy patch is turning some of the hairs white and all of them a lighter colour. It is as if the flashes are bleaching the melanin from my the hair. The instructions do say that the device is ineffective against white hair. Is that originally white hair or hair that has become white during treatment?This is a very impressive machine and makes home use so easy.

A great IPL hair laser remover machine. So far to date, after using this for several months i must say it is working well, its design is great making it easy to hold and it is also light weight. Great effectiveness, it has slowed down the rate of which hair follicles start to appear again, easy to use, great quality. Feels great on the skin, no rough marks or burns experienced, great value. Comes with sun glasses also for further protection. Must be used for several weeks to months regularly with good spaced days in between for optimum results.
