My 92 yr old dad recently had a hip replacement. This bedside rail has made a huge difference in him being able to get into the bed by himself. It can be adjusted as wide or narrow as needed. It also comes with a little pouch where he can keep his cell phone handy, the remote to lift the head of the bed up and some tissues close by. The sturdy metal rail was very easy to put together and install between the mattresses. The price was great and it arrived very quickly. I'd recommend it.

The bed rail is easy to assemble and very sturdy. I like that there is extra stability in the rail that goes under the mattress and the rail is height adjustable. My elderly mother likes to sit up in bed and watch TV or be on FB. She has a life long habit of staying too close to the edge. She fell asleep, fell out of bed and busted her head on the side table. She didn't want the bed rail and I think she was imagining one that is on a hospital bed. I bought this expandeble bed rail without asking her. When it arrived, she liked it and was happy with the storage pockets too. In the photo you can see a small step ladder. She's very short and needs it to get in bed. With the bed rail she can hold on to it while getting into and out of the bed. Now, if she falls asleep, she is safe. The black part is like rubber so her head isn't hurt if it hits the rail. It's a thin line when it comes to trying to help keep an elderly parent safe and not treating them like a child.If any of my review is familiar to you, don't hesitate, purchase the bed rail.

I got this for my mom, the bed rail is amazing, it is easy to install, and it is adjustable to different size according to your needs. It was a great addition to my mom’s bed, she is 84 years old, and she loved it, because it is stable and the handle has a great-soft design, she feels very happy to have it. The safety strap provides confidence for the safety risk concern I initially had. It is a very suitable and practical product, highly recommended.

Very well-made and works just as described. I don’t have it strapped down so it shifts a tiny bit, but for the most part my elderly dad is happy with it. It’s held down very well by the mattress and doesn’t budge unless a lot of pressure is applied. The strap is unnecessary in our use case.It keeps bedsheets (and him) from potentially falling off the bed and he uses it to move himself around in the bed more easily. I lean on it when speaking to him as well so it’s useful for all involved.Highly recommend.

Needed a rail to aid in an 88 yr old to get into bed. Bought this for the far side of the bed and another rail for the other side. Very easy to assemble and apply to bed. Although she resisted now she loves it! Glad we purchased this- lots to grab.
