The media could not be loaded. We recently upgraded to the Sanhima Rooftop Tent Hard Shell (Jervis Overland) for our van, and it has completely transformed our camping experience. As a small family of three who loves weekend getaways and off-grid adventures, this tent checked all the boxes—and then some.Setup is a breeze. Flip the latches, lift the lid, and you’re basically done. It literally takes a couple of minutes, and the included ladder is sturdy and easy to extend. We really appreciate the low-profile design—at just under 12 inches, it adds almost no wind resistance while driving, which makes highway travel smooth and fuel-efficient.Sleeping in it feels like staying in a cozy, mobile treehouse. The stargazing window is magical—we laid back and watched the stars peek through on a clear night, and the ventilation kept the interior cool and fresh. The mesh windows do a great job keeping out bugs (mosquitoes didn't stand a chance), and there's enough airflow that we never felt stuffy, even with the three of us inside.Comfort-wise, it delivers. The foam mattress with anti-condensation mat is way more comfortable than any sleeping pad we’ve used before. Plus, the light-blocking silver lining is amazing for sleeping in—we weren’t forced out of bed at sunrise like in our old tent. It stays cooler inside during the day too, which is a huge bonus if you’re camping in warmer climates.Storage is clever and thoughtful. There are pockets everywhere for storing phones, flashlights, and snacks, and even a ceiling net that held our lightweight jackets and a small quilt. The built-in LED strip gives just the right glow at night without being overpowering, and the shoe bags on the outside help keep things tidy.Overall, it’s an incredibly well-designed, sturdy, and comfortable rooftop tent. The waterproofing and UV protection stood up to both rain and sun on our recent trip without issue. If you're on the fence, go for it—this thing is built to last and makes every trip feel like a proper escape.

Packaging was great for shipping on a large item. Easy installation on my 2019 Ford Expedition. Easy setup. Good quality. Recommended to a friend of mine and he bought it as well.The bad, when putting away the tent in the hard shell it takes 2 people to ensure all of the fabric gets tucked into the sides. The other thing is that the mattress is a little thin. We bought a 3 inch mattress topper to add to the cushioning.Great tent for the money.

Used it once so far. Easy to put up. A bit more difficult to put away, but not really “difficult.” Sturdy and comfortable. We like the star gazing roof window a lot. Only two minor issues: 1) the mesh “wall” with pockets and such that covers the interior of the hardtop shell wall came down… the stitching one of the connection points just came out. Thankfully nothing ripped, just the stitching itself. It’s now being repaired by a seamstress. 2) the base seems to squeak a bit when my GF and I were… being intimate. But, I guess it wasn’t probably made for that kind of rocking and rolling. 😏

It has key locks but doesn’t come with any keys, support is nonexistent.

The quality and design of the tent is excellent and super easy to install. I installed it with the help of two friends. Easy up and down. It's good in the rain, too. You can sleep. I'd give it six stars, if that's all right.

We’ve used this tent for a few road trips now, and it’s been a game changer. The waterproofing held up perfectly during a heavy downpour, and we stayed completely dry. The storage compartments inside are a nice touch, keeping our essentials organized. Worth every penny!

We've set it up on a trailer, which might raise some eyebrows, but it's actually a genius solution for us. With multiple vehicles, we didn't want to install Overland racks on each one. Instead, we opted for a trailer setup, which makes it easy to switch between vehicles.Setup is a breeze - it takes about a minute to open and around five minutes to fully set up with windows open and poles in place. The mattress is slim but surprisingly comfortable, thanks to the soft memory foam. There's ample room for two people to sleep comfortably.Overall, we're thoroughly impressed with this tent's space, ease of setup, and comfort. Highly recommended!

My parents absolutely love going on road trips, camping, hiking, and just being outdoors. They recently celebrated their anniversary, and I couldn't wait to gift this to them.My husband and I went over while they were at work and got it set up on their suv. Set up was super easy and practical. I really appreciated how quick and easy it was so that it saves them time and they have more time to enjoy their adventures together.There's plenty of room for 2 people, possibly more depending on age/size. It was perfect for my parents and has room to spare. The base is padded. It's easy to get in and out of. I was really impressed with the quality and design. It's well made and thought out.When my parents got home and saw it set up they were blown away! They immediately had to go explore. My dad appreciated the attention to detail and construction of the unit. My mom loved the thoughtful placement of the windows to allow a breeze as desired but also allow her to view the night sky.It will easily fit a variety of vehicles and is a must have for outdoor adventure enthusiasts.
