Summer Gold Japanese Maple- Best Gold in Summer - Does not Burn in Full Sun 1 - Year Live Tree

Cute little plant. It is a hybrid but seems to be taking off now and getting more leaves. I got some burns from direct sun so for now it is nestled in with some other plants to get lots of light but little direct sunlight. So tiny for the price but these are hard to find. Looking forward to this becoming a mature tree in the yard. These are so pretty when they go thru changes of season.

Order two maples, They arrived ok but neither was identified so dont know which is which. Very small pots. With the amount I paid plus shipping, I could have bought a tree at the local nursery that is 5x bigger. I wrote asking for plant identification but never heard from them. I am sadly disappointed.

The tree trunk is smaller than a pencil. It was recently grafted, and the top of the branch has not fully integrated into the root tree. There’s a possibility that it may not survive. I placed it in a part-sun area for 20 days. If the leaves continue to appear droopy, I plan to return it.

Nice size tree, well packed and healthy. But not sure if it is the same species as pictured on site. The leaves on line is a 7 lobe vs a 5 lobe leaves I received.

The tree is a 1 year graft as described. I got the tree in a USPS flat rate box. It was torn and wet by the time it arrived. Thankfully the young tree was not damaged. The leaves had already fallen off but had new buds growing. Considering it’s mid fall, I do not expect them to grow any new leaves.I replanted it in a 1 gallon pot. Now it looks ready for winter. The bark looks amazing tho. I’m happy with it. Especially for the price.

I bought 3 different maple trees which all came together in 1 box, none were labeled as to what it was nor listed as a grafted tree. One tree description did list it as a grafted tree. Contacted the vendor 2 times and never heard back from them. 2 of the 3 trees died after 9 months which was summer and they should have been doing great. I transplanted all of them into larger pots and they all gained leaves in the spring. I did not put any of them in direct sun. Very disappointed in this order. and responsed from vendor.

The tree arrived healthy and happy, but unfortunately I broke one of the branches off of it; however, it is still thriving so check out the pictures from when I first received it in June to more recently you can see the change in color during October.
