Nice Cactus
I purchased these Cacti over one season ago. One cacti died the first season but the other cacti is still going strong and has even grown an additional pad. It is mostly all about proper care so make sure you are prepared. Overall these should be easy to care for.

These are not live cuttings
These are not live cuttings, nor do I believe this is Burbank spineless or Barbary fig or Opuntia ficus-indica, this is prepared nopales. Meaning the outer edge has been trimmed and all spines have been scraped off, in other words prepared nopales that you would buy at the local mexican grocer, not something you can plant. For legitimate pad planting you would simply twist off a pad leaving it intact except for the small contact point where the pad was connected to the plant, you would then let the pad dry for a few days. This not plantable with all the open wounds allowing infection and 100% failure guaranteed.

Great product from a friendly seller
The I received the package in about 3-5 days with the cactus pads looking great. The seller was kind enough to include a bonus pad that was a different variety of the prickly pear. I have it placed in a pot filled with one part of sand, potting soil, vermiculite, and peat moss. It has been probably a week since I planted it so it will be a while until I see new growth. I simply placed the ends in my dirt mixture and covered the top layer with small rocks to look more "desert-like." I currently water it every 3-4 days. I am hoping some roots have started growing and I am watching to make sure that the pads do not start to shrivel. Apparently, according to people on youtube, you can actually cut the pads in half to double what you are planting. Just make sure to either place the fresh cut portion upwards in a pot or let a "scab" form over it before placing the cut side down into a pot.

Good Cactus
Came well wrapped and my Hermann tortoise loves it. I plan to plant one and try and grow some on my own. Was worried because of the low price but happy with what I received. Would buy from this seller again.

Buy from Alexander Van Berg! Great seller, got great product quickly
I recommend everyone buy from the sellerAlexander Van Berg.Shipping was quick. I received the pads two days after order. Alexander gave me for very healthy, large, and hearty pads. Two of the large pads already have additional pads sprouting from them, I can't wait to plant them.Additionally, Alexander sent me an excess of small pad cuttings. These were free and extra on top of my order, and though a few of them were damaged because they were so small, they were FREE and I can still plant some of them having a few extra cactus house plants. The pads are all spineless. I'd assume they would be great for feeding pets and great for eating. The large pads I received are around a foot, some longer in length. The smallest pads are about four inches long.Thick pads are around a half inch thick.Smaller pads are around half a centimeter

The shipment was very late and the cactus looked not fresh!
I didn’t like the shipment was more than a week late and the product looked wilted and it was not cut in pieces as shown. I won’t order it again!
