Ford Mustang 1964 1/2 - 1973: How to Build & Modify

If you know the major components of any car, this book will not be useful. It’s more like a general list of things to look at when restoring a Mustang. No tips/tricks. No real discussion about body work either.

Got this for hubby who is restoring 2 Mustang's...lots of good info and pictures which help him see where things go and what things are supposed to be with the year of the car. He was so thankful for the "help" I got him.

It's very well organized and written, it's a outstanding read for an entry level (me) or for a high intermediate Mustang enthusiast! The book has 13 easy to understand chapters covering everything from wheel selection to interior gauges; engine, suspension, yeah, it's all there! Mr. Bohanan also breaks each chapter into 3 performance levels: 1. daily driver, 2. daily driver with a kick and 3."Hey mama, We 'er going to the track today! Would I buy it again? You betcha. Thanks Mr. Bohanan

I've had a lot of the mustang books and this one seems to be the best! It doens't necessarily go through "how to" do things, but more what you "can" do in order to upgrade or restore your mustang... I really like this book.

Illustrated well, It couled have covered more modifcations.

Bought it thinking it was more technical then what it was. Just turned out to be geared more towards people that don't know much about cars.

Good bedtime reading if your thinking of restoring an old Mustang

I needed charts of technical specifications, measurements and capacities. This book doesn't have them.

Good book interesting read.

Nice introduction, good to have to form an idea of what could and should be done to restore a vintage mustang
