Great quality matcha
Great quality matcha at a great price and easy to find. The taste is smooth and creamy with a little bit of umami. Its not bitter or astringent. Perfect for beginners.

Best matcha powder I've bought off Amazon
This matcha powder has a beautiful dark green color and it has a creamy taste to it. Pairs perfectly with milk. My only issue is that the price went up since the last time I got it. But overall it's a good quality matcha.

Good Matcha
I've been making my own matcha lattes at home for a while now, and I'm always on the lookout for a good quality powder that doesn't break the bank. This one is definitely a solid contender. The color is a pleasant, vibrant green, and it whisks up nicely into a fine foam with minimal clumping. For my daily latte, the flavor is smooth and has only a very slight bitterness, which is easily balanced with a little milk and sweetener. It's a very enjoyable and reliable matcha for everyday use. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I have tasted better, more complex ceremonial-grade matchas. This one doesn't quite have that deep, rich umami flavor and the exceptionally creamy texture that you find in the absolute top-tier powders. That said, for the price point, it's an excellent product. If you're looking for a dependable matcha for your daily lattes or smoothies, this is a fantastic choice. If you're a connoisseur looking for a premium ceremonial experience, you might find it a little lacking.

Fantastic decaf matcha
I was bullied by friends who called me a heretic for wanting a decaf matcha, but I knew what I wanted, and I luckily found it right here on Amazon. Do not be dismayed by the size of the container! This lovely little tin packs a punch of delicious and rich decaf matcha. Before I purchased it, I looked at the reviews and was happily surprised that all of them were positive. Other decaf matchas reported bad flavor, clumping, and even the inclusion of lead... !? This one is smooth, blends seamlessly into your liquid, and serves up sip after sip of that green goodness that we all love. I am hooked!

blah blah
Probably the best matcha on Amazon. It’s beautiful. Nutty, soft, and not fishy whatsoever. Only con is that it’s so tiny

This was waaaay better than I expected — perfect for Tanabata!
I tried a whole bunch of low caffeine matcha brands after Koyama-en sold out of theirs, and they were pretty much all trash until I found this one. I practice Chanoyu, the Japanese tea ceremony, and I am licensed through the Urasenke Foundation in Japan. My grandmother also practiced, so I’ve been drinking matcha my entire life. We use low-caffeine matcha for guests who have caffeine sensitivities, pregnant and nursing mothers, and also for night-time tea ceremonies like Tanabata. For this year’s Tanabata celebration I was growing desperate trying to find tea because Koyama-en has been out worldwide and was not going to get more, and I couldn’t even get it shipped by my friends in Japan. Finally, after trying many different awful brands, this one came, and although I had almost entirely lost hope, I was happy to discover that it was not just okay — it was actually good! I think it might even be better than the Koyama-en! All of my guests for tanabata loved it and took the tea information with them so they could order it in the future. My tea sensei was one of my guests, and he is a true tea snob, and even he liked it! I did some experimentation and I found that adding just a dash of powdered L-Theanine makes this even better, and L-Theanine also helps people relax and may help with sleep, so I now have a go-to tea blend for night-time tea temae! I’m very excited. I won’t leave negative reviews for the brands I didn’t like, because it seems like other people like those for lattes and whatnot, but I wanted to share with real tea people that this matcha is actually quite good. I’m definitely re-ordering before it also disappears due to the crazy tea world right now.
