My 16 month old was recently diagnosed with thrush. The doctor had told us to use a washcloth to administer the oral Nystatin (4 times a day for 2 weeks). I thought there had to be an easier way, and that’s when I discovered these swabs! They are the perfect size for her tiny mouth, and it worked WONDERFULLY for administering her medication. I also love that they were individually packaged & sterile. The swab was securely attached on the stick and I didn’t have to worry about it coming off while using it.

These are tiny and hard. They get the job done but I prefer the larger softer ones

If it's too painful to brush your teeth..for whatever reason.. use the pediatric one..not the adult. This works very nicely!

Sponge is slightly rough but still comfortable to use. Sponge is attached securely to the stick.

This item is a 50 pack of individually wrapped disposable oral swabs. They are marketed for use in children's mouths to brush and clean teeth. I can see this being used for those kids that don't like to brush their teeth, as that would have been me. I regret not doing so today, but that's another story. These swabs are also just fine for adults who have sensitivity issues and need a more delicate touch. They are versatile and have numerous uses. I am using them to clean our dogs teeth. We tried using a brush and that didn't go over well. It might have hurt her gums. If only she would communicate with us. Then we used the finger thing a ma-jig and that worked OK, but didn't do a good job according to our vet. Our dog allows us to use these swabs with some tasty paste (I think it's tasty). We can get a good swabbing/brushing where we do a good job cleaning and our vet is now happy with our efforts. I don't much like using disposable products, but sometimes you just have to give in and do what's best for man's best friend. The softness and texture is perfect for our need here. I think the price point is reasonable for a 50 pack. Overall, I feel these are a versatile and very useful tool to conduct oral hygiene efforts in a safe and comfortable manner.

Good for In between meals and cleaning the tongue. Would consider buying again.
