I have to say, I was skeptical about this item initially because it really did sound like a gimmick item that wouldn't live up to expectations. Needless to say, I was completely wrong and also blown away by how good this slushy cup is. You literally can make a slushy in a few seconds - but the kicker is that you need to freeze this bad boy for several hours before it works its wonder.I tested the item in April, but definitely can't wait for summer to roll on for any excuse to knock out all manner of slushies. It works really well with fizzy drinks. If you love Coca Cola, you'll love it even more as a slushy!

Very easy to set up, you just need to pop the bottom half into the freezer overnight and then the next day it is ready to use. It does produce children's sized portions but I can usually get two slushies each time.You fill it 2/3 with your chosen liquid, so far I have tried juice and lemonade and then you squeezed it until it gets to the desired frozen consistency. It will obviously make your child's hands very cold whilst they're doing this but you can always wrap it in a tea towel.It's easy to clean and you can pop it straight back into the freezer for next time.The issues I had with this is firstly, spoon straw is really flimsy and the spoon part falls off all the time so we end up not using it. Secondly, getting all of the slush out of the crevices can be tricky for the kids, so I tent to spoon everything out of the cup into a different one for them.It is a fun activity for them and they like seeing how the liquid becomes frozen and they obviously enjoy the end product and that they can personalise it every time they make one.

I found this slushy maker to be really tempremental, and even when following the instructions word for word, only getting a small amount of slushy out of each freeze.I tried it multiple times with lots of different drinks, and could never get a decent amount of slushy made, so I wouldn't say this product is worth it.

The packaging is bright and eye catching, and my daughter couldn’t wait to give it a go.The cup itself is excellent quality, easy to dismantle, and simple to clean. For our first attempt, I placed the slushy cup in the freezer overnight. My daughter wanted a Vimto slushie, so I mixed it with water as usual and poured it into the cup. After screwing on the lid, she squeezed the cup several times, and within a minute, to our amazement, it transformed into slush. The included straw with a spoon attachment is a great touch.Since then, we’ve experimented with different flavours and found that fizzy drinks work even better. We even bought ready made slushy drinks from the supermarket and mixed them in the cup for an even frostier texture. My daughter absolutely loves it, and it has quickly become a fun kitchen gadget in our home. It would also make a fantastic gift for kids and slushy lovers alike!

I ordered this slushy maker for our youngest family member to hopefully enjoy making his own slushy drinks.The slushy maker is a really simple design that involves getting the maker very cold, I left it overnight in the freezer, and it seemed to be enough time so it could work properly, then you add your chosen liquid, and squeeze/crush the ice as it forms.I would recommend not over filling it, as you need to leave room for the sides to squash in, and it does spill if it's too full.Apart from that it worked really well, if you've got a younger user you make need to assist them as its quite time consuming, but it was fun to do, and he enjoyed the results, so I'm certain it will be used more regularly over the summer months, and I'm happy to recommend it.

Im not going to lie, i got this on a whim thinking it was going to be naff but atleast entertain the kids for 10minutes BUT wow! It actually works and really easily too. Just freeze the base and then pour in any liquid of your choice, weve used fruit juice, diluting juice and even milkshake and in just a few moments of squeezing it you have a full slush! I dont know how or why it workd but it does, if your quick you can make 2 portions of slush but after that you need to refreeze the cup so it does have a long wait time between uses. For under 10 pound ill certainly be purchasing another one because i know my kids are going to want to use this constantly throughout summer

This actually works! I was kinda skeptical but yeah it works. It's really fun. Super simple to use and well made and works. "instant" slushy, if you can call waiting 8 hours in the fridge instant. You just fill with water then squeeze squeeze when the time is up and add your juice of choice. It comes with its own straw and spoon. Made one with just powdered skittles mix but next time I might make a cheeky gin and tonic slushy! This will be perfect for those long hot days of summer. Well worth a purchase for both kids and adults alike. Worth the money! I might get another one!
