I've been looking at buying some tumbling rough from other online shops. Most shops have a solid mix option at around $6/lb but you pretty much always have to pay extra for shipping. This is a good deal because shipping is included and the mix is solid.The quality of the rocks I got here was good. Maybe 4 or 5 of the rocks are granitic and not good for tumbling but other than that all of them are things I'm looking forward to throwing into a tumbler. Note that if you are new to tumbling, not all of these rocks should be thrown in at the same time as they are different hardnesses. Tumble rocks with others of similar hardness for better results.

My haul ended up being dozens of colorful, genuine rough crystals in a giant organza pouch! Had lots of fun taking out every one and dampening it to see the true colors, which made identification easier. Most notable were several rose quartz, tons of big polychrome fluorite, a few large amethysts, a labradorite with purple/yellow chatoyance, several gorgeous teal apatite and a giant garnet! I got these to make grab bags but ended up keeping several specimens for my personal collection! Good value and came with an identification chart, too! Highly recommend!

Very pleased, well worth the $5.00 plus per pound. These people obviously care about getting good reviews and repeat customers. Comes with useful illustration to help identify rocks.

Good mix of rock types. Not too many of any one kind. Size is good for tumbling. Comes with a picture chart of about 50 rocks; not all on chart are included, but helpful to identify some.

I love that these came with a glossy color poster identifying all the potential stones in the box. I had fun checking out my haul then placing atop the corresponding photo. I’d say there was a bit more than half of the possible semiprecious stones in my mix that are pictured. Many duplicates. Some more epic than others of course but I’m overall impressed. Great for tumbling or just to leave raw for meditation or cleansing. Great value you’ll receive a ton of stones. They came thoughtfully assembled in a festive gift box and bag! They’re of a substantial size that will leave you with a good sized rounded palm stone if tumbled. I was worried they’d be tiny but they are not at all. Not a lot of junk/filler stones they’re almost all easily identified. I look forward to bringing them to life with a nice bath or a tumbler!(For reference to identify stones in the three palm pictures - picture 4 is of both blue apatite and labradorite, pic 5 of two naturally formed garnets, and pic 6 is of an opalite and a turquoise nugget. Some of my favorites in the lot.)
