This is a decent large portable monitor for any need. We use this when using our laptops at home or on the go. I also own the ASUS ZenScreen monitor so I have some experience with portable monitors. The biggest issue I have with this monitor is that it requires a spare power supply in order to work. The ASUS ZenScreen is powered via the same USB-C cable that provides the video feed as well which is a really nice feature. The main difference between this monitor and the ASUS monitor is the size. My ASUS ZenScreen is 15.6" and this monitor is 18.5". I can't see that being the reason why it requires it's own power supply, but it might be the reason. What this means is that you'll have to plug the USB-C cable into the laptop for video feed and the power supply into the wall for power to the monitor which makes it.........less portable. The video quality is decent compared to most screens on the market and it's great to have the sRGB color grading as well as the 100Hz refresh rate. The kickstand works well for standing the monitor up on a table as well. My ASUS ZenScreen uses the screen cover for this purpose rather than a kickstand. It would've been nice if this monitor had a screen protector/cover like the ASUS ZenScreen, but it doesn't so we had to purchase a monitor bag to keep the screen in good condition while traveling. Overall, for the inexpensive price, this is a really good monitor. If you're looking for something a little more professional, you're going to have to spend some decent cash.

I've owned several portable monitors and this one is the worst. It's a decent build quality but it will not work when I connect it via HDMI to my Steam Deck dock or my Ally X dock. And yes I do have the monitor connected to a USB power supply. The monitor acts like it has a signal when you plugin the game consoles but the screen is blank. If I plug the consoles into a TV instead it does work there. The monitor will work if I plug a Firestick in but I need it to work with my game consoles.

I have 2 of these 18.5" monitors and have been using them for little over a year with my 15.6" laptop, giving me 3 screens to work from. I am self-employed so I take my work with me on vacation. The portability of the screens is perfect for my needs. I also love the flexibility of landscape or portrait mode. When I'm at home, they're attached to a dual monitor stand with my laptop in the middle. When I'm on the road, the kick stand on the monitor sets right on the desk next to my laptop. If you're using 2 monitors like me, you'll need a thunderbolt USB-C port and an HDMI port. My old HP didn't have the thunderbolt port but fortunately my Lenova ThinkPad does. I am so spoiled with this monitor setup that I hate just working on 1 screen now -- it helps me to stay productive. It is a very good value for the money.

This has turn out to be a great portable monitor - it comes with a slim case and fits in my carry on luggage. Reasonably priced. Plus its 18.5 inches - probably as big as you can get for travel. There is no battery - so you need to plug it in when you use it.

Great monitor for the price. Setup is quick and easy with included cables. Light weight and has built in stand which is great for travel. Fits in my carry on. Response time is good for remote work.
