Q: Which colors for the machine in these kits?

Technically it doesn't matter since you will be wrapping your machine, but I like the distingushing colors of grib/handle to settings, so i went with purple. Red or any color would be fine, it doesn't hinder from preformance, black works just as well!

Q: Is needle depth true to machine measurement? My machine protrudes needle by 1-2 mm when cartridge is attached which creates deeper stroke.

The mag needles definitely stick out way too far, this is a typical cheap machine.... sad too because this machine is not that cheap!

Q: Has anyone else had issues with cartiridges popping out? Any suggestions on troubleshooting this issue? Thanks!

I've had a couple of cheap unbranded cartridges want to pop out because of not locking in correctly, but since I've bought only quality brand boxes with no issues... Obviously the Mast cartridges fit great but if another brand doesn't seat tightly don't use it. There is a few other brands that fit great but if you can't feel the click of it locking in be careful and check it often or test it before you put it to skin
