Mosa 16 Gram Threaded Co2 Cartridges (Pack of 30)

Apparently did not recieve ginuine mosa cartridges. No white mosa box, just an unmarked cardboard box with 30 poorly machined cartridges thrown in a usps bag. Threading is off axis of cartridge itself meaning it screws in at a canted angle, also crossthreads. Striped then DESTROYED my aluminum probiketool canister inflator ( due to cartridges being uneven I was unable to put the canister back on once cartridge had been screwed onto the inflator. 55 bucks total wasted.

I received 12 gram cartriges, in the bottom left it says 16g cartriges then in the description on the right it says 12g cartriges, see photo. They are 12g. I guess I'll just carry a few more on my rides

Update August 24, 2018. After trying several things I bought a 3/8" X 24 die and tried to clean/rethread the cartridges. Turns out they where just poorly cut and I managed to save all 30 cartridges. I did not bother using a die holder as I had a 1" combination wrench that worked fine. The effort to clean the threads was relatively low but the wrench helped a lot. Any wrench that fit would work as would a small vise or even Vise grips. So for a further $6.99 and tax I saved the box of cartridges. FWIW these were in a Gas Depot box and were definitely not the MOSA brand.Update August 16, 2018. I had purchased these in the past and my original review stands for the previous items. However these cartridges DO NOT fit the mosquito magnet adapter at all. The threads are different. I mistakenly assumed the threads would be the same. It was pnly today that I tried to use them and, NO LUCK. they would not screw into the adapter at all. I tried about 10 of them thinking perhaps there may have been a few faulty ones. Nope! They are all different threads. Again the original Mosa branded ones worked perfectly, these are not branded Mosa and DO NOT work.Original review:I use these on a Mosquito Magnet. They work perfectly and cost a fraction of the Mosquito magnet Brand.

The cartridges I received are unusable for food or beverage purposes. The box of cartridges has a sticker applied by the seller that includes the words "Food Grade" (see photo), however I am quite doubtful that the box I received is food grade. There is an strong odor of oil or rubber when the cartridges are discharged. I find it difficult to believe that anyone could use the cartridges that I received for any food or beverage related purpose and not notice it. I used it to pressurize a beer growler and I could very distinctly smell and taste the unpleasantness when I dispensed a beer (the same unpleasantness that is obvious when I just discharge the cartridge a bit into the air). I have read that certain CO2 cartridges intentionally include a small amount of oil for use with paintball guns. It certainly seems to me that the distributor shipped a box of those to me and put a sticker on it that says food grade. I emailed the seller to ask if the cartridges are food grade and got a prompt response saying : Yes, at the minimum all of our 16 gram CO2 cartridges are food grade. The 16 gram unthreaded cartridges are actually beverage grade, which is a little higher standard. Regards, JohnI replied to John, to let him know that the cartridges I have are not usable for beer. While out riding I recently found one of Portland Design Works Shiny Object Inflator Head. Could have been junk but picked it up anyways. I use unthreaded cartridges in my Genuine Innovations inflator but it will also take threaded cartridges. I purchased a threaded cartridge to test Shiny Object and it seemed to work fine. I've purchased CO2 cartridges from these folks before so I ordered a box to use with my "found" object. Needed it only twice so far and no problems so far.Will continue to buy from Redrock as long as they continue to deliver reliable cartridges.

The Mosa 16 Gram Threaded Co2 Cartridges came as pictured, in white box. The box does not say Mosa anywhere on it, but the cartridges work great. I have not had any issues w/any of them. I use them w/my mini keg growler tap system & my bike pump. If you need these for either of these to functions, I can recommend these w/confidence.

I am using this Co2 with a Growl Tap/Tap-It-Cap system for growlers of beer. I confirmed with the seller, who in turn confirmed with the supplier, that these are in fact food grade. The price is much better per unit than from the Growl Tap website and they do what they are supposed to.

I have been using this brand for small beer kegs, and have not had a problem previously, however this new batch has trouble screwing into the Co2 regulator, causing leaks during the initial insertion, and loss of maybe 1/10 of the contents, and one did not form a seal, causing complete loss and a cold burn on my fingers trying to get the thing to seat itself. I would use another brand.
