This recorder has changed my life. I regularly use recording devices for endless meetings and other observations I make as part of a side gig. This tool is convenient and super easy to use. The recorder is unobtrusive, picks up sound at levels I wouldn't expect, and affords many options, including transcription and written summaries that need minimal editing. I bought the subscription piece and it's still saving me tons of money through better use of my time. I really, really like this product.

Been using the NotePin for two days now. The design is sleek and minimal, making it super easy to wear in different ways. Functionality-wise, it works great—transcriptions are accurate, and I love that it supports multiple languages even in the same conversation. The recent firmware upgrade was a nice improvement, especially in making it clearer when a recording starts. Overall, a solid AI-powered note-taking device that’s both convenient and reliable!

This thing is super handy and I use it all the time. Honestly, it's great except for one little thing. That pressure sensor to start and stop recording is kind of annoying. I wish there was a different way to do that. Otherwise, five stars!Oh and I sldo wish the wrist band came in other colors. White is pretty stand outish when it comes to a recording device claimed to be so undercover. I love the software too!

The PLAUD NotePin is an amazing little device. The word recognition isn’t perfect but you can edit the transcript afterwards and the summary will respond. The clip option also works double duty as a tie clip or to keep a conference badge lanyard in place.I just finished an instructional conference and PLAUD spit out good summaries with the important parts highlighted for each session. It made it way easier to go back if I missed something and review after each session.I only wish there were color options for the wristband and other accessory options.

This is undoubtedly one of the best AI-powered recording and transcribing devices I’ve ever used. The recordings are incredibly clear, the noise reduction is top-notch, and the transcription process is seamless. On top of its excellent performance, the device boasts a sleek and stylish design, making it ideal for both personal and professional use. I highly recommend this product to anyone seeking a budget-friendly, high-tech note-taking solution.

I've carried about every kind of recorder made as a newspaperman. This tiny device works better than any other ones I've used for capturing dialog under some pretty gnarly conditions. I'm still learning the interface, but the recorder does a great job.The day it arrived, I had the unpleasant task of meeting with an ICU staff to decide the fate of a friend of mine who was in dire straits. Two of us had her medical power of attorney and had to make some hard choices to honor her wishes. Two healthcare practitioners were in the room, and we had the other POA person on a conference call with her mother.I pushed the button, not sure I was doing it correctly, but when I got home, it had captured most of the conversations better than expected. Being able to go back over the conversation helped us make the decision to follow her directives that she would rather die than have a life without independence and no chance of improvement.I had also used another digital recorder that was my previous favorite. The NotePin out-performed it.It's going to take me some time to master the AI process, but the recorder is worth the money.

Purchased this device as an addition to the PLAUD note for the smaller form factor and multiple attachments. Powered on, paired and tested and the device worked amazing… until it did not. Found the device recording multiple times (on and off charger) and even while sitting on desk with nothing touching it. Thought it was an issue but wanted to give it a chance… this continued recording 6-15 minutes and then doing it again and again. The device activated and recorded conversations it was not meant to and they were loading to the cloud with the WiFi connection. I was doing maintenance to clean out my recordings 2-4x a day. Did the software update and it seemed to fix the issue. It didn’t unfortunately. I attempted to use it to record a one hour session and the light stayed red the entire time, but when I went to review the recording found that it only recorded bits and was starting and stopping itself. I put the device in a hard storage box and inside my desk, when I went to take it home found it active again and finally reached out to support (as I have completed all the help files on the app and online). They were quick to respond, but wanted to check the software. (Software, Serial Number and all other questions they asked were in the support form which are required fields). I sent back screen shots of the device software and received a message back 3 days later saying they were going to reach out to someone to get more info to help fix the issue. Radio silence after that, I sent another email stating that it’s becoming an invasion of my privacy, could cause issues for me at work and needed to be fixed or I would need to return the device. Still nothing. I finally was fed up and sent it back via Amazon and then received an email telling me to send it to them but I needed to take pictures of the entire unit before sending it back, that they would only send me a return label after they approved the images and would refund me (even though I DIDN'T BUY IT FROM THEM).Battery Life was not great (due to it activating and recording when it wanted). The size was amazing (although a bit smaller than I thought it would be. The value of this device if it worked, would be priceless that’s for sure! The device activating - recording conversations (and only sections of them) both when you did and didn’t want it to is a solid NO for me.Support for this product via the app was a joke, they didn’t pay attention to details sent (emails sent back and forth were quick and detailed) but the agent or whomever showed how much the company values their product by not even paying attention to the details provided.PLAUD NotePin is a solid zero stars and I wish I could have given it an actual shot.Save yourself the money and go with the PLAUD Note, it’s been a game changer for me and my life and I have had zero issues with it.To The Company: PLAUDIf you’re going to offer a product ensure it works but even more so value those whom are reporting issues. I stated I would write this review and you still didn’t even attempt to help fix your products clear violation of the users rights. I hope that someone from the companies corporate office sees this review and finds better solutions to their support and faster response times to their new product defects.
