Q: Will this hold magnets?

I was surprised to find that this alloy does hold magnets. Those who are saying "it's stainless so it's not magnetic" don't have enough knowledge to be answering so authoritatively.

Q: Is this coated with anything? I'd like to etch it with Ferric Chloride.

This piece of metal is very clean and un coated. One side has a peel off membrane.

We don't recommend our sheet metal be used in a cricut. There may be someone with an outside opinion who says otherwise, but it would likely damage your machinery. Our aluminum foil, however, can be used in a cricut machine.
