If you are wondering if this product is legitimate Tretinoin at 0.05%, I can concur that it is indeed Tretinoin and stronger than my current 0.025% Retin-A cream. The texture of this is more like a lotion, it's rather thin so it is easier to apply too much. Don't do that if you are titrating up from 0.025%. It's very easy to apply a pea sized amount of Retin-A due to the consistency (which has a pearlized concentrated mineral sunscreen feel). The A513 cream feels like putting an ointment similar to A+D or Neosporin all over your face. It's just not for me and I couldn't commit to it. I also don't feel like it is as concentrated of a form of tretinoin. This, however, after a few days of application gave me that specific peeling one gets with tretinoin. IDK how to explain it except your skin ACTUALLY peels like a snake (except it's more like a wet peel). I realized I was using too much and needed to be careful to just use a pea sized amount, just like I do with my Retin-A. It's easy to use Retin-A sparingly due to its consistency, but this is a much thinner consistency, but just as concentrated and effective. This is so inexpensive, so I thought, 'what the heck', I'll try it to see if I'm ready to titrate up. I also plan on using it on my scalp along with my minoxidil to improve absorption. The Amazon Prescription program is great for getting Retin-A, but they won't prescribe multiple strengths of it and require a new appointment for each titration up.

Amazing product! Skin looks smoother after just a few uses. It’s a lightweight gel that absorbs quickly. Didn’t notice any scent. A little goes a long way. Highly recommend.
